RSS is the largest cultural & social organisation in Bharat, says Ex-Congressman Anil Antony who recently joined BJP

Anil K Antony, the son of A K Antony, one of the tallest leaders of Congress, said that RSS is the largest cultural and social organisation in Bharat.

Speaking to Janam TV Malayalam channel, Anil said that Pandit Nehru and Indira Gandhi maintained high regard for RSS. Nehru had even invited RSS workers to participate in the Republic Day Parade in Delhi in 1963. Former Rashtrapthi, the late Prof Pranab Mukherjee, visited RSS headquarters and held discussions with the top leaders of the organisation. RSS is the source of energy for our Nation-building as well as National integration. RSS carries out the largest charity activities in the country.

Anil K Antony joined BJP on April 6 at the party’s National headquarters. It was a jolt to the sinking ship of Congress. A K Antony looked too sad and grave when he met the media men the same evening at Thiruvananthapuram. He said Anil’s action did hurt him, and it was a wrong step. He said it was his first and last reaction to the matter. Later on, Anil’s younger brother Ajith Antony hoped that his brother would revert soon. But, at the same time, he disclosed that Anil suffered tons of abuses from the Congress party. No doubt, he was referring to the days when he opposed the BBC documentary “India: The Modi Question” made to defame PM Modi and when he stated that Congress is supporting the blunders of a single individual, an obvious reference to Rahul Gandhi.

Top Congress leaders in Kerala have been screaming with frustration since Anil’s announcement regarding his BJP entry. Because it is a bolt from the blue for them.
