Traditional Thandai
Thandai is a relaxing and refreshing drink made of milk, sugar, and nuts. A glass of Thandai gives instant energy and sets the mood for playing with colours all day. There is a tradition of Thandai prevalent in North India, where you can also make ‘Bhang ki Thandai’ from the leaves and flowers of the cannabis plant. Gujiya
A signature Holi dish, Gujiyas, known as Karanjis, are among the most common sweets prepared in every Indian household during this festival. Halwa
Celebrate the colourful Holi celebration with your family and friends by serving these wonderful Indian treats made with semolina (suji), milk, and sugar syrup. It is often prepared during holidays like Diwali and Holi. Suji ka halwa is quite easy to prepare. Simply stir in little sugar and khoya. After that, add in the sliced almonds or chopped pistachios, then serve warm.
