Washington [US]: On January 9, SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ created history at the 80th Golden Globe Awards.

RRR’s Naatu Naatu was announced as the Best Original Song category winner. The award was accepted by M M Keeravani, who had composed the track. Chandrabose penned the lyrics. Team RRR – SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and others who attended the Golden Globes were elated by the announcement.

The moment when Jenna Ortega announced ‘Naatu Naatu’ as the winner, ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli, actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan jumped off their seats and clapped enthusiastically as the song played in the background as film composer MM Keeravani made his way to the podium.

A video of the historical moment is now doing the rounds on the internet.
