War and Peace

In May 2018,the pain of the innocent child had overcome by the pain of a very sad scene circulating on social media. Tears welled up in everyone’s eyes—a Syrian school struck by war and terrorism; was temporarily turned into a shelter home. On the camp floor, the small kid found a piece of chalk. He drew a picture of a woman on the school floor. “Maa,” wrote on the woman’s chest, sleeping peacefully as he knew nothing. The scene in which the figure is lying with its head on its chest was very touching and heart-wrenching as well. He also wants to be close to his mother, pampered .sleep on her lap, even in the thoughts of his mother. But who understands his feelings, the cruel human beings, the society? All the way from Syria to Ukraine.

Exactly after five years, such a scene has shaken the hearts of today’s society. A nine-year-old fatherless girl has just lost her mother. The woman was killed in the bomb blast by the Russian army when she was riding in her car. Then and there, the girl’s fate is full of darkness. The lonely girl is writing a letter to her mother. “My beloved mother, you were everything of my childhood. You were the most beautiful mother in the whole world. You were the goddess of heaven for me. I am forever indebted to you. Mother, I will try to be a good girl. I can go to heaven after I die and meet you. This is a painful letter from an innocent girl, narrating the terrors of the war. Millions of such children are homeless today. The whole world is dejected by such a tragic situation. What a miserable situation!

On the one hand, there is the urge to settle down on Mars, and on the other, the calling for suffering. Isn’t it unfortunate, the poor warlike mentality of a human who shows himself civilized, informed, and developed? Today, Ukraine is in the trap of a selfish, clunky, dominant American shrewd President Biden. Not in a way to diminish the war. Rather, it is becoming more and more threatening and leading to World War III. More than 20,000 people on both sides were killed in the Soviet-Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Many efforts are being made today to save lives.

More than 10 million people have been moved from Ukraine so far to another country. Wherever there is war, there is pain. Once Benjamin Franklin told everyone in the world looking for either a “good war” or a “bad peace”, can anyone explain? ‘Peace is a journey of thousands of miles, it is lost even in a single step,’ said B.Johnson. War is a devil act of civilized society. The naked scene of a cruel society. The withy thoughts a lost civilization. War is a companion of death, the space for pain, suffering and hardship, the frightening face of hatred, trepidation. According to Imarshan – “War has never been won, only in peace and good understanding others can be accomplished.” Not only the two continents, but the whole world is suffering from the blaze of the battle. The war begins with the sturdiness and disdain of the top political leaders and ends with the blues and melancholy of innocent lives. After all, by then, the world had faced the end. Russia has already undergone many of the bitter experiences of the war and bloodshed, but, unfortunately, there is no empathy, no realization.

The country has seen more than 70 wars since the 15th century. Listening to the news of Napoleon’s deadly intrusion of France army in 1812 on Russians, raise the freezing feelings. 70,000 people were killed in one day, and at least 200,000 people were killed in the consequences of the next six months-long war. The wounds of that war were so harsh and deep that it shook Tolstoy’s heart even five decades later. After that, he wrote a timeless novel “War and Peace”, in which he tried to give the message to the world against war and death.

“Spirituality should be the ultimate and prime goal of human life. Spirituality is the best way to live a peaceful life, without spirituality, the destruction is a harsh truth” – that is the essence of his timeless creation. Sigmund Freud, an eminent scholar, thinker, and psychologist, is remembered here. The Austrian Freud is one of the most influential and analytical thinkers of inhuman behaviours. According to him, “despite all the devotional qualities, there is a deadly force inside human beings, ‘Thanatos’, which takes along to death, towards the end. It wakes up the devils within them. When this force wakes up, the inhuman activities occur, and humans become more anxious to fight. When It becomes even more intense, man turns away from God and denies the existence of God. So, everyone must seek God. In this regard, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, addressed the 15th Virtual Conference of the “India and the European Union” on July 15, 2020 – world peace and partnerships are a must.

For this Indo-European union role is important. So , mutual understanding and Partnership are much needed. Partnership means mutual exchange. The war-torn European country should provide peace-loving India which dwell with better life-philosophy, religion, and spiritual sciences in a peaceful and prosperous manner with the exchange of advanced science and technology. The outcomes will be good for the whole world. The most important matter is the country won’t have to see the blues if leaders of the country would be spiritual and farsighted.

Seeing the horrors of the war, the pyramid corpses, the mourning of thousands of wounded, and the red shaded battlefields, Chandal(brutish) Ashok was lamented that day. Along with his family, he started to spread the peace to come out of the agony. Due to his successful efforts to spread peace, Chandal was transformed into a peace ambassador. The end result of the stubborn, the arrogant Duryodhana, the miserable scene of the bloodshed, who didn’t listen to Lord Krishna’s repeated efforts for peace, was the great message to humanity. Therefore, considering the horrors of war and violence, Tolstoy probably decided to go to the war against the war, leave Assi(sword), and hold Masi(pen). After retiring from military services, he started to serve the society with the help of his pen and literature. But unfortunately, the man from the same soil of Tolstoy, Putin, is sitting on the roller coaster of the devastation today. If the world-famous Russian writer had been there today, he would have advised world leaders to adopt India as a role model – “O world people, look at India once. In its thousands of years of history, this magnificent land has been ruled and exploited by foreign invaders, but has never attacked anyone or tried to dominate others. For the sake of peace, she has gifted the spreader of peace – Buddha Deva to the world, but not to war. Human life is very precious, so respect humanity. It is the nectar of human life to bear respect for each other. There is no joy or glory in hurting or attacking others.” There is no meaning to civilization without peace and harmony. Not through cruelty, but by goodwill, the power of the united world is understood. Victory over war can not be celebrated in mourning cemeteries or any problem can’t be resolved forcefully. The fruit of peace and goodwill is sweeter than the fruit of the bloodshed soil. Remember, the victory of war occurs in the celebration of mourning. It is easy to declare war, but it takes patience and courage to make practical efforts for peace or reconciliation. Only warriors and heroes can do it.

Victory over war creates hatred because the losers spend their lives in pain. Even more powerful is the common truthful man, weaker than the mighty man. Why not invest the money spent in war or destructive action to get rid of diseases, disasters, poverty, and misery in Ethiopia? Ethiopia, like Somalia, was the unlucky land of the skeletal men. But Ethiopia continues to make history like an Eagle. Since its only dream is ‘Peace and Prosperity, the country taught the neighbours the mantra of peace and good coexistence – “Let’s live in peace and prosperity.” As a result, discrimination against neighbouring Somalia, Kenya, Sudan, and Eritrea has escalated.

According to the World Bank’s 2017 report, Africa’s second-largest population (more than 1.5 billion) and the country’s densely populated annual growth rate (8.3) are higher than India’s (6.6). Ethiopia has been declared by the United Nations Environment Program as a “model country” for its positive outlook. The country’s president is also the recipient of the Nobel Prize for peace 2019. Similarly, France and Switzerland are rich territories due to their excellent well-being. There is no discrimination and difference between the neighbours. They are so tolerant of each other that there are absolutely no boundaries. Even the territory of the two countries is located inside a house or hotel. So, “O world community, the best creation of God, please stay away from hatred, enmity and strive for a peaceful world and live with harmony; always remember and practice “Vasudhaiba Kutumbakam”. And you see, tomorrow morning, there is a new sun, new dawn full of happiness and peace.
