Vivek Agnihotri hits out against Foreign Journalists for their ‘hate Campaign’ against The Kashmir Files

‘The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri accused the Foreign Correspondents Club of cancelling his press conference on Tuesday, claiming himself of being a victim of a ‘hate campaign.’

Vivek Agnihotri took to social media to allege that the Foreign Correspondents Club “cancelled his press conference in an undemocratic manner as part of a hate-campaign against worldwide blockbuster movie “The Kashmir Files,” and that he would be having an open-house conference at the Press Club of India on the same day, May 5.

“The President of the Foreign Correspondents Club called me yesterday and informed me about the press conference cancellation. He said some powerful mediapersons have objected to the event and threatened that they would resign en masse if the conference is held”, Agnihotri said.

“Few days back, the global Kashmiri Pandits diaspora informed me that the foreign correspondents club in New Delhi was very keen to host me for a press conference as many foreign media wanted to talk to me about The Kashmir Files and the truth of the Kashmiri Hindu genocide,” Agnihotri said. He said a press conference was fixed for May 5 at the Foreign Correspondents Club, New Delhi at 7 PM.

Agnihotri said the Club also made “unusual demands” for food and cocktails at the press conference, and on their request, a team of Zee Studios made all the arrangements for food and logistics. But to my shock, yesterday I received a call from their president saying that the event has to be cancelled. Some very powerful media have strongly objected to this conference and have threatened to resign en masse if allowed. The Club’s management surrendered to agenda-driven, anti-free speech and anti-truth and cancelled the press conference in an undemocratic manner.

Since the announcement of Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files is on the hit list earlier this week, Wikipedia called The movie based on Kashmiri Pandits, genocide and exodus “inaccurate.” Later Vivek Agnihotri hit out at Wikipedia for their ‘secular credentials’, and sarcastically asked them to edit it and add words like ‘propaganda’.
