Chandigarh-based journalist Taruni Gandhi has tweeted the 12-second-long clip of the incident. With the video clip, she wrote, "A video journalist got lil late, @raghav_chadha threw his mic on floor. He didn't stop here, he called channel owner to sack video journalist. Now they aren't in power here in Pb and see their #arrogance. Once God forbid if they are in power, Pb would be in hands of anarchists."

He asked police personnel to get away and let him enter the chamber of the newly elected mayor as he was the MLA.

On Friday (January 7), Raghav Chadha was chased away from the press club in Jalandhar after allegations that he was selling the party tickets in Punjab. Chadha was to address a press conference.
