Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, said that the selfless service done by volunteers of the Sangh during the Corona period is Hindutva. There is a sense of well-being in it. He said that the welfare of the world is possible only in the supreme glory of the Hindu nation.

He said that the founder of the Sangh, Dr Keshavrao Baliram Hedgewar had realised that the diversity of India has a sense of unity at its core. We are all Hindus, descendants of ancestors who have lived on this holy land since ages. This is the spirit of Hinduism. The Sangh chief was in Bhilwara, where he met Terapanth Acharya Mahashraman.

The Sarsanghchalak addressed the seminar organised at Vidya Niketan in Udaipur. In the assembly,

Dr Bhagwat enlightened people from different sections of society participated.  Throwing light on the purpose, thought and methodology of the Sangh, the Sarsanghchalak said the Sangh’s goal is person building. Society building is possible through person   building, country building is possible through society building. The Sangh works in the spirit of universal brotherhood. The whole world is his own for the Sangh.

Pointing out that the Sangh has no desire to earn a name, the Sarsanghchalak said the Sangh has worked in adverse situations. Despite the impoverishment of the early times, the Sangh is today the largest organisation in the world. Sangh is an organisation of credible, trustworthy people of society who do not differ in words and deeds. All Hindus are our brothers. This is the union. This is the Sangh’s branch, the Sangh’s volunteers. Referring to the founder of the Sangh, Dr Hedgewar, Sarsanghchalak said, “He used to say that the organisation of Hindu society can solve all the problems of India. Wherever the Hindu population has decreased due to various reasons, problems have arisen there. That is why the Hindu organisation will become omnipresent and talk only about the welfare of the world.”

Earlier, Sarsanghchalak Dr Bhagwat, Regional Sanghchalak of Rajasthan region Rameshchand Agarwal and Mahanagar Sanghchalak Govind Agarwal lit a lamp in front of the statue of  Mother India.

Later, Dr Bhagwat answered questions in the curiosity session. On a question about the image of the Sangh in the media, he said, “Propaganda has not been our aim. For egoless, selfless, cultured volunteers work is the primary objective. That’s why there was a delay in the field of publicity. If work is done, it will be publicised without even saying it. The Sangh is not involved in the competition of  unnecessary publicity.

On the question of the role of the Sangh in the tribal classes, he said that the purpose of the Sangh is to organise the entire society. The work of welfare and organisation of these sections is going on with the positive initiative of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Parishad, Ekal Vidyalaya and volunteers.

Giving an example of Phulbani, Odisha, he said that the forest dweller is not a Hindu due to  selfishness, greed or compulsion, but it is basically  a Hindu. n
