He quoted the tweet of Rahul Gandhi in which he had spread fake news about the Ghaziabad case.
It was reported that Abdul Samad Saifi was thrashed for not chanting Jai Shri Ram.
Investigation revealed Parvesh, Arif, Aadil and Mushahid had thrashed Saifi over some personal issue and fake news about ‘Jai Shri Ram’ was spread by one Samajwadi Party leader Umed Pahelwan.
Alt News and its founders, Pratik Sinha and Mohammed Zubair, spread the muted video of thrashing. When police found the original video, there was no reference to ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
