RSS swayamsevaks engaged in service of Corona patients
Bhopal: The Swayamsevaks of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh have started a screening and testing campaign in various areas of Bhopal to break the chain of corona infection. On May 2, from 6 am to 11 am, swayamsevaks at Aakriti Green and a team of doctors assisted residents, watchmen, and working women in the screening and rapid test of corona. The report of three people in the rapid test came positive, and doctors have given them the necessary advice.
Dr Rajesh Sethi, Vibhag Sanghchalak, Bhopal, said that at this time when the country is grappling with the second wave of corona infection, society should fulfil its responsibility. We have trained our swayamsevaks in screening and testing. After screening and testing, people are advised that they need to stay at home alone or in a quarantine centre run by society or go to the hospital. Swayamsevaks will now do screening and testing in areas where the infection has not spread much. By identifying the infected, the corona infection can be prevented from spreading further. Dr Rajesh Sethi said that the Sangh is getting the full support of society in the fight against Corona in Bhopal. In Bhopal, Swayamsevaks started screening and testing from Sunday. Screening and testing were done in Aakriti Green on the first day. Also on the first day, Dr Madhav Bansal, Senior Doctor of Hamidia Hospital and his team received big support. Along with taking oxygen and pulse readings to the Sangh volunteers, he also imparted training in sampling for rapid tests.
During this noble campaign, Sah-Baudhik Pramukh, Bhopal RSS, Neeraj Pandey informed that many services and support works are being conducted by Sangh, including setting up of quarantine centre, isolation centre, helpline centre, plasma and blood donation and food. Delivery functions are included. The swayamsevaks are also supporting the administration. Various types of assistance are also being provided to patients and their families in hospitals.
