A young Muslim woman from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, Hina Khan, has requested the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to save her from her in-laws.

The video message posted on social media platforms has gone viral.

In the message, she has alleged that her husband, brother-in-law and in-laws are harassing her for dowry for the past six months and no one is helping her.

Hina was married to Sufiyan in April last year. Everything was fine for the first three months.

The trouble started after that when her in-laws started demanding more dowry. Her brother-in-laws also started harassing her.

In the video message, she pleads she doesn’t want to be another Ayesha Banu.

Ayesha Banu, a young woman from Ahmedabad in Gujarat had committed suicide in February this year. Before jumping in Sabarmati river, she had recorded a video message blaming her husband and in-laws of harassment.

Hina also found later that her husband, Sufiyan, was in a relationship with another woman.

Sufiyan took money from Hina’s family to break his relationship with another woman.

Hina also alleged that police were demanding money from her but she didn’t have any money.

In the video, she also pleads with other political leaders to save her life.

The police replied to her social media posts saying they were looking into the matter and it would be resolved soon.
