She asserted that devotees returning from Haridwar should be mandatorily quarantined.

Kumbh has become the punching bag for the inefficient politicians to hide their own failures and mismanagement.

Already, the Kumbh has been cut short to a month from the usual three/four months. Massive arrangements have been made for testing in the city.
After the Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an emotional appeal this week to keep the celebrations in Kumbh to bare minimum , many Akharas are now declaring an end to the celebrations.
