There are massive corruption and wrongdoing in the transfer and posting of IPS officers in Maharashtra, claimed the Leader of the Opposition Devendra Fadnavis.
The intelligence department has prepared a report about it and submitted it to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in August last year.
Fadnavis revealed the findings of the report in a press conference Tuesday.
He also added that he had sought time with the Union Home Secretary to hand over the voluminous evidence he had.
He also exposed the lies of NCP Chief Sharad Pawar.
Pawar, in a press conference Monday, had defended Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Deshmukh is also from the Nationalist Congress Party.
Fadnavis produced evidence to prove that contrary to the claims of Pawar, Deshmukh was meeting senior officials of the Home Ministry of Maharashtra in February this year.
