Retired Kerala High Court Judge PN Ravindran and Former DGP Venugopalan Nair joined Bharatiya Janata Party in presence of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
He formally joined the Party during the BJP ‘Vijaya Yatra’ at Thripunithura in Kochi. BJP state president K Surendran had earlier said that many of them would be joining the party in the coming days.
The election for 140-member Kerala Assembly is scheduled to be held in a single phase on April 6, 2021. The number of polling booths in Kerala has been extended from 21,498 to 40,771.
