Teachers must contribute in Print Media to counter the intellectual war being waged by pseudo Intellectuals: Prafulla Ketkar

New Delhi, August, 07: “Teachers are the most elite Section of the society and must contribute in Print media to counter the intellectual war being waged by some vested interest writers in India”, said Prafulla Ketkar, Editor of Organiser Weekly. He was addressing a virtual “Media Workshop” organized by Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) here today.
Members of Media Wing of ABRSM from different states participated in the workshop.
The Three Days Media Workshop was started with the “Sarasvati Vandhna” and Welcome address. The welcome address was given by Vijay Kumar Singh, National Convener of Media Wing of ABRSM.
Ketkar said that there was a dearth of creative and nationalist writers who guide the society and create an atmosphere of nationalism and harmony in the country and only teachers’ community has a capability to create such an atmosphere.
“Teachers being the torch bearers of the society should devote time in collecting data pertaining to education field and write on important topics which ultimately helps the policy makers in making various policies for the betterment of the society” Ketkar further said.
He also spoke on the future of digital education and digital divide in India and asked the teachers to equip themselves to counter the upcoming challenges in the Education field.
A Question & Answer session was also held where participants from different states raised certain questions and queries related to use of print media which was responded by Prafulla Ketkar.
Basant Jindal, Deputy Convener, Media wing of ABRSM presented vote of thanks where as the proceedings of the workshop was conducted by Darshan Bharti, All India Deputy Convener of Media Prokosht of ABRSM.
