Now a video of him is going viral on social media, in which Afridi is chanting the Kashmir raag while addressing in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. In the video, Pakistan soldiers and some people in PoJK were also can be seen.

Afridi starts with Covid-19 virus and then says that Allah should save everyone from this disease. Then all of a sudden derails by exasperating his rage against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Afridi said ‘Modi has deployed seven lakh Indian soldiers in Kashmir, as many as in our entire Pakistan Army. The former Pakistani cricketer also accused Modi of religious hysteria. Afridi’s fury did not stop here; he said that Modi is persecuting the Kashmiris. Along with this, he also questioned the United Nations that the UN never does the work for what it has been established, the UN has always been unfair with Pakistan.

Shahid Afridi is talking of religious hysteria when his ex-teammate Danish Kaneria in an interview with Sports tak (sports youtube channel of AAJTAK) on Friday, May 15 accused him as the one who treated him unfairly all through his career. Danish Kaneria went on to blame Afridi for his short limited-overs career because he is a Hindu.

Kaneria had earlier supported Shoaib Akhtar’s claims of discrimination against him, saying that he would take the names of the responsible cricketers soon. Akhtar had alleged that his former teammate Kaneria faced discrimination at the hands of a few Pakistani cricketers, who were reluctant to even eat with him because he is a Hindu.

This is not the first time that the former Pakistan Captain is chanting Kashmir raag, he had been involved in a number of Twitter wars over the Kashmir with former Indian cricketer and Current MP Gautam Gambhir.

This time also, while tearing apart Shahid Afridi, Gautam Gambhir, went on to remind of what happened in East Pakistan in 1971, saying that Pakistan wouldn’t get Kashmir till the judgment day.

Gautam Gambhir tweeted “Pak has 7 lakh force backed by 20 Crore people says 16-year-old man Afridi. Yet begging for Kashmir for 70 years. Jokers like Afridi, Imran & Bajwa can spew venom against India & PM Narendra Modi to fool Pak ppl but won’t get Kashmir till judgment day! Remember Bangladesh?”

Last year, he had also visited the Line of Control to chant Kashmir raag and to create havoc following the Indian government’s decision to amend Article 370 and abrogate 35A. He had even called for intervention by the UN and the US regarding the same.
