The Palghar lynching is not the isolated case but a rule of secular selectivity over mob-killings
-Shri Ram Shaw
Why are the pseudo-liberals, news channels, Lutyens media and Urban Naxals silent on the mob lynching of Hindu monks at Palghar, 125 KM from Mumbai? Is it just because the colour is saffron? The colour saffron is integral to Bharat – a symbol of courage and sacrifice. It is also the colour of the Sanyasis – people who were once revered in this country but now looked upon as thieves, child-snatchers, and organ-harvesters – figures of hate. This narrative-setting has gone on for a long time and continues unabated. It started with the British and then was institutionalised as state policy under free India – maybe not de jure but definitely de facto.
The silence of the award wapasi brigade, who often masquerades as Human Rights Activists is also baffling. Does such a gruesome killing not hurt them irrespective of the identity of the lynchers? Does the silence point further to the conspiracy theory? Palghar was not just a lynching, it was the culmination of several years of narrative-setting and normalisation of hate. The silence of the pseudo-liberals on the ill-fated incident is very shocking. Come any incident involving a member of the minority community and they create a cacophony of noise to emerge as saviour of humanity. Is it that those who were lynched were two Hindu monks that it does not matter for them? Not a word of condemnation of the police or Maharashtra’s law and order situation!? Not even an expression of sympathy for the monks who were on the way to attend last rites of their guru Shri Mahant Ramgiri in Gujarat.
Maharaj Kalpavrikshgiri (70), Sushil Giri Maharaj (35) from the Varanasi-based Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara, and their driver Nilesh Telgane (35) were apparently handed over to the murderous mob, allowed to be beaten mercilessly to death on April 16. It was the most heart-rending sight that would disturb anyone’s conscience for a long time to come.
Was it the anger of the Naxals and the Left, or a deep communal conspiracy, or is it a simple case of mistaken identity that innocent sadhus and their hired driver became victims of hatred? The incident was the most prominent manifestation of hate. But, hate for what? There is undoubtedly something more to it than meets the eyes. …And media was also mum on their lynching because their name was not Tabrez, Akhlaq?
The Palghar lynching and killing of sadhus by a violent mob is not the isolated case in independent India. Remember temple sadhus case in August 2008, who got several cow smugglers arrested, were brutally killed in Kanpur (UP). Two pujaris in Auraiya, some 100 kilometres from Kanpur, in a temple named Bhayanak Nath temple in Bidhuna area were murdered by people involved in illegal cow smuggling and slaughter as the sadhus had tipped the police about such a crime in their vicinity. Three sadhus were tied to cots. Two of them, Hariram and Lajjaram, were killed; one of them had his tongue slit, while others had his throat slit. The third sadhu, Ramsharan, was grievously injured. Today, we are once again reminding you some gruesome incidents with some of those names who probably suffered no less than Tabrez or Akhlaq. But the sympathy of the leftist fundamentalists was not there for them because those who killed them were part of the Islamic mob.
Vishnu Goswami – On 16 May 2019, Imran, Tufail, Ramzan and Nizamuddin burnt Vishnu Goswami alive by pouring petrol on him in Gonda district of UP. In the meantime, a dispute ensued with Vishnu and his father, and the culprits poured petrol and set him on fire.
V Ramalingam – Perturbed with the conversion of Dalits in Tamil Nadu, V Ramalingam, a leader of Pattali Makkal Katchi opposed some members of PFI (Popular Front of India). Chandan Gupta – It’s tough to forget the gruesome killing of Abhishek alias Chandan Gupta, who was killed in violence during Tiranga Yatra in Kasganj. His only ‘crime’ was that he took part in Tiranga Yatra of VHP and ABVP on the occasion of January 26. He was shot from a rooftop in a Muslim-dominated area. Chandan died in the incident and later the police arrested Salim, the main accused.

The police arrested Hanif, Ibrahim, Ilyas and Abdul Rashid in this case. His fault was that he had tipped police about illegal smuggling of cattle in the area and he was instrumental in the seizure of several trucks and lorries loaded with cattle.
Vidhu Jain – On September 30, 2013, in Malerkotla, Punjab, some jihadists brutally murdered the Hindu child Vibhu Jain. He was only 12 years old when he was kidnapped. Later the news came that the fundamentalists had burnt him alive.
Twinkle Sharma – The horrific killing of a girl child at Tappal in Aligarh made everyone think whether humanity is still alive in the society or not. The accused – Mohammad Zahid and Mohammad Aslam crossed all limits of
ruthlessness for a meager amount of Rs 10,000. They had brutally beaten the girl for 8 hours till her death. Her eyes were also damaged. Later, her body was thrown at a place where dogs badly
decomposed it.
Dr Pankaj Narang – In 2016, Pankaj Narang was murdered in Vikaspuri, Delhi. Nine people were arrested in the case. There were four minors among them. The only reason for his death was that while playing cricket with his nephew, he forbade some people not to drive fast. Enraged over this, they attacked Pankaj.
Bandhu Prakash – RSS worker Bandhu Prakash Pal, his seven-month pregnant wife, and eight-year-old son were strangled to death on October 8, 2019, in Murshidabad area of Bengal. This incident shook everyone. Police had earlier described the murder ‘due to personal reasons’, but later they also added an episode of Rs 24,000 as a reason behind the killing.
Kamlesh Tiwari – The murder of Hindu leader Kamlesh Tiwari, who always raised his voice against the fundamentalists, shocked everyone in the year 2019. During the investigation, it was revealed that there was a deep conspiracy behind it and the real motives of the fundamentalists fanned from Ahmedabad to Uttar Pradesh, were also exposed.
Preeti Reddy – The horrific incident of Hyderabad shocked the entire nation in November last year. The main accused was Mohammad Pasha who along with three others first gang-raped the lady doctor and then burnt her alive.
Ratan Lal – He faced the wrath of Muslim atrocity during anti-Hindu riots in Delhi on 24-25 February. He sacrificed his life to the Islamic mob to stop Delhi from burning. His post-mortem reports revealed that the death was not due to stone pelting but due to bullet injuries.
Ankit Sharma – During the anti-Hindu riots of north-east Delhi, Ankit Sharma, an officer in IB (Intelligence Bureau) was brutally murdered. He was attacked with knives 400 times. About half a dozen people severely tortured him for four hours.
Neeraj Prajapati – Neeraj Prajapati of Lohardaga had to fall prey to the violence fuelled by Muslims when he attended a rally on January 23 in support of CAA. Neeraj lost his life in this violence and with this the hopes of his family also exhausted.
The list seems to be endless. These are only a few names who were targeted by Islamic forces in the last few years. There are many other names too, apart from these, and more names will continue to be added in it because the perpetrators of these heinous crimes against Hindus know that they will always get the ‘security cover’ of ‘Secular Media’ under which they will get away with it and will be proven innocent in the end.
