Unable to handle the situation arising out of Wuhan virus, Pak PM Imran Khan seems to have given the Army a free hand to run the country as per its whims and fancies.
Despite countries world over and its own citizens suffering from Wuhan Virus, Pakistan has not desisted from its nefarious activities. It has been reported that Pakistan’s army is forcibly sending Wuhan virus-infected patients from its Punjab province to occupied territories in Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
Entire world knows the way the Government of Pakistan always treats the citizens of POJK and Gilgit Baltistan in a step-motherly manner. However, this move of the Pakistani Army which is a blatant violation of human rights has been vehemently opposed by the locals of POJK. But the Pakistani army true to its character is suppressing their voice at gunpoint. The Pakistani Army is forcibly packing patients in trucks and sending them to POJK and Gilgit Baltistan.
According to the news agency ANI, Pakistani army officials have ordered that there should not be any Wuhan (Corona) patient around the army headquarters and in localities where army families stay. After this order, Pakistan Army is forcibly sending Wuhan Virus patients to several quarantine centers in POJK, including Mirpur, in trucks.
Locals protest, Pak army does not heed
Local residents of Gilgit and POJK where the Wuhan Virus infected patients have been sent have strongly protested against the Pak army’s sinister plan. Local residents say that they already lack in health and other essential facilities. If the Wuhan virus patients are brought from outside and kept here, the whole area can be vulnerable to the epidemic. Despite their protests, the Pakistan Army did not pay any heed to their concerns and were threatened at gun point.
This also proves that Pakistan does not care about POJK and Gilgit-Baltistan because Punjab is more important for Pakistan politically as the present PM Imran Khan hails from this province.
PoJK activist Dr. Amjad Ayub Mirza has said that there is a lack of governance in Pakistan, that is why the entire country has been handed over to the army. The army is running the country to suit its interests and not that of the residents.
Wuhan virus infected patients in Pakistan rises to 1200
The number of patients infected with Wuhan virus in Pakistan is around 1200. But it seems that the Government of Pakistan is not at all serious in handling the situation.
Pakistan PM Imran Khan is not taking any concrete steps to stop the spread of the virus in his country. On the other hand, he has given a free hand to the Army to send Wuhan virus infected patients to POJk and Gilgit-Baltistan. This is sure to increase the chances of an outbreak of the virus in these regions which have been free till now. The reality is this is how Pakistan deals with the citizens of POJK and Gilgit Baltistan since it was forcibly occupied in 1947.
