The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has welcomed the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the nation regarding efforts in fight against #Covid19.
In a statement issued by SarKaryavah Suresh (Bhayyaji) Joshi, the RSS has asked all Swayamsevaks to follow the mantra of ‘Sankalp and Samyam’- Determination and Restraint – and Support all the initiatives of the Centre and the State Governments including Janta Curfew on March 22 to ensure that they are successful.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh welcomes the appeal of the Hon’ble Prime Minister to the nation regarding efforts in fight against #Covid19. All Swayamsevaks are hereby asked to follow the mantra of ‘Sankalp and Samyam’- Determination and Restraint – and Support all the initiatives of the Centre and the State Governments including Janta Curfew on March 22 to ensure that they are successful. May all of you prepare your families to have the forbearance to meet the situation, play a constructive role in creating social awareness and contribute to the fight against Corona Virus.
It can be recalled that the RSS had called-off its annual Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha in the interest of the soceity and to support the government efforts to fight the Corona virus threat. The ABPS which was to be held between 15th and 17th March were voluntarily cancelled by the RSS in a unprecedented decsion in its entire history. The annual ABPS were not held only during those years when it was banned by the Congress regimes at the centre.
Following the cancellation of the ABPS, the Karyakarini mandal chakled out the plan for the next year and has planned to train the nation’s youth on Gram Vikas, Social Harmony and environmental awareness.
