Nagpur, February 29, 2020: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has reacted sharply to Maharashtra government granting 5% reservation to Muslims. While addressing a public meeting in Nagpur, VHP Joint General Secretary Dr. Surendra Jain said that it seems that Hindutva is now limited to mere words and is not their guiding ideology anymore. He said that Shiv Sena is cheating not only the Hindus of Maharashtra but Shivaji Maharaj and Bala Saheb Thackeray too.

The politics of Muslim appeasement has been ongoing for 73 years. Despite this, there are ‘Shaheen Baghs’ happening inside the country, riots take place in Muslim-dominated areas, IB officers are stabbed with knives, but still these parties do not realize the truth. Now the Uddhav Thackeray government has to decide whether it is with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj or with the followers of Aurangzeb.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad will fight against this reservation for Muslim in the streets and in court but a diabolical law based on purely communal grounds and for Muslim appeasement will not be tolerated.

A procession was also taken out before the public meeting in which hundreds of people participated. Jitendra Nath Ji Maharaj, Peetadheeshwar of Devnath Math Anjangaon Surji, addressed the huge gathering present at Chitnish Park ground in Mahal Nagpur. He emphasized the unity of Hindu society.
