APROPOS (Fix the Instigators, not Just Rioters), Organiser, January 5, 2020, the editorial hits the proverbial nail on the head, as UP?s Yogi Administration set a laudatory example for punishing the rioters and arsonists who indulged in violent protests damaging public properties. In what might be called a first in the state of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, other states can have a lesson or two from Yogi. Not only punish the criminals.

Laudatory Example to Punish the Rioters

APROPOS (Fix the Instigators, not Just Rioters), Organiser, January 5, 2020, the editorial hits the proverbial nail on the head, as UP’s Yogi Administration set a laudatory example for punishing the rioters and arsonists who indulged in violent protests damaging public properties. In what might be called a first in the state of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, other states can have a lesson or two from Yogi. Not only punish the criminals. Don’t spare the scumbag instigators, too, without whose political and logistical support these thugs take the country to ransom. Now no politician or protestor will ever think of indulging in mindless violence. Finally, someone has the ‘spine’ to walk the talk and not succumb to political compulsions. It’s time other states emulate UP’s lead in bringing criminals to book.

Rewarding the Rioters

APROPOS (The Orchestrated Riots), Organiser, January 5, 2020, most parts of the country have been witnessing large scale violence such as arson and destruction of public and private property on the pretext of antagonism against NCR and CAA. Despite the law passed by both Houses of the Parliament, the opposition is making hue and cry on this issue. Some agitators, rather the rioters, have been killed in police firing. Some states have announced Rs 10 lakh each to those killed in the police firing. This is a reward for the family members of the rioters. Hereafter the rioters need not worry. If they indulge in rioting and are killed in police firing, their family members will get Rs 10 lakh as a reward. I am of the opinion that Rs 10 lakh is too inadequate, minimum Rs 25 lakh should be paid to the rioters.

Sowing the Seeds of Chaos

APROPOS (The Five Cabal States), Organiser, January 5, 2020, while the jury might still be out on the ‘Five Cabal States’, it is clear that their decision to not implement Central Government’s law in their respective states is highly unconstitutional. The only recourse to solve the political and constitutional problem is to take them to task through legal provisions of the Constitution without endangering the federal nature of our country. Challenging the constitutional validity is tantamount to sowing the seeds of chaos in the country. This should be debated, discussed and dealt with immediately by the Government of India.

Free India from Madrasa Education

APROPOS (Understanding the CAA), Organiser, January 5, 2020, it really pains to see that Muslims are protesting against CAA all over the country without even knowing what CAA stands for. Mullahs and Imams of Masjid are responsible for inciting the mobs to violence. When I attended Friday prayer on December 20, in one of the mosques in Erode, the Imam was inciting people to violent protest against CAA. It is high time the Modi’s government takes action to free the innocent Muslims from the clutches of Mullahdom so that Muslims can coexist with all communities in India. It is high time that Muslims learn respecting the sentiments of Hindu brethren, instead of labelling them as kafir as done by the ignorant Mullahs. The Government should take a step to ban the Wahabi brand of ideology from all religious Madrasas in India. It is my dream that one day India will become free from all Madrasa education, which is making Muslims retrogressive and backward thinking.
