Abid Saddiq, Sharaz Hussain, Aftab Hussain and Masaued Malik were convicted and jailed in the Rotherham child abuse scandal

In a child sex abuse scandal that had sent shockwaves aross the United Kingdom a decode ago, 5 more Muslim men have been arrested for abeting sexual crimes against white minor girls. The men were part of the ‘grooming gangs’ in London that sprang up in the 90’s to lure white girls into their trap and abuse them sexually. All the sexual predators who have been arrested and convicted of the crime so far are Muslims who are either immigrants themselves or descendents of immigrants from south Asian countries.

The arrested criminals Abid Saddiq, Aftab Hussain, Sharaz Hussain, Masaued Malik and one other man subjected seven young girls to years of continued sexual abuse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The girls, who were all under 16 and “vulnerable and craving attention and love”, were targeted for the sole purpose of becoming sexual objects for these Muslim men between 1998 and 2002. These men were found guilty of a total of 26 counts of sexual offences. These sexual predators, all from Rotherham and the surrounding area, worked as a group and would wait in cars outside girls’ schools, then gave them alcohol and drugs before abusing them. They then shared the victims amongst each other for their sexual gratification.

A five-week trial held at Sheffield Crown Court heard the charges and the victims versions before convicting the predators. The other abusers jailed as part of Operation Stovewood so far are Riaz Mahmood, Sajid Ali, Zaheer Iqbal, Asghar Bostan, Khuram Javed, Tony Chapman, Darren Hyett, Mohammed Imran Ali Akhtar, Nabeel Kurshid, Iqlak Yousaf, Tanweer Ali, Salah Ahmed El-Hakam, Asif Ali, and a 40-year-old man.

Operation Stovewood

Operation Stovewood is the NCA investigation into child sexual exploitation and abuse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, between 1997 and 2013. It is the largest ever investigation into child sexual exploitation (CSE) undertaken by law enforcement in UK and the complexity of the investigation is unparalleled. The NCA took over the Rotherham investigation following the 2014 Jay Report, which shocked the nation by revealing the scale of the offending against children in the town.

Victims and survivors have been exploited or abused by many individuals, in locations across the UK over a number of years. The majority of suspects have offended against more than one victim and many have been involved in organised trafficking.

A total of 20 men, mostly Muslim men, have so far been convicted and the National Crime Agency (NCA) vowed to continue the investigation, which has so far identified 190 suspects and engaged with 313 alleged victims out of an estimated 1,500.

Local authorities failed the victims

Judge Michael Slater who heard the cases, criticised the authorities for not taking action in time. The judge said he was “quite satisfied” that the “relevant authorities” were well aware of the way vulnerable teenagers were being targeted for sexual exploitation at the time.

He described it as a “lamentable state of affairs”, saying that the authorities at the time were at best “totally ineffectual” and, at worst “wholly indifferent”.

The Rotherham child sex abuse scandal and its prolonged enquiry and injustice meted out to the victims, casts doubt over the policing system in England as many wonder if authorities fear taking actiong against the predaters lest they be branded as racist. It has come to attention that several victims have with held themsevles from coming out with their harrowing experience as they fear that they would be branded as racist for naming Muslim men.

Multiculturalism, bandied about by the Left and Labour parties in UK, is now threatening the women and girls of the country only to be politically right and massage the egos of a few leaders who do not want to be seen as anti-Muslim.
