New Delhi: RSS Sarasanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryvah Bhaiyyaji Joshi congratulated the government for the courageous decision of amending the Article 370 and enabling the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir. 
“We congratulate the courageous move by the government. This was necessary not only for Jammu and Kashmir but also for India. All should welcome and support this valuable decision, keeping the self-interests and political clashes aside,” said Sarasanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Bhaiyyaji Joshi in a joint message.
The RSS has always stood for the abrogation of Article 370 and complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir right since the time it was introduced. Guruji Gowalkar had advocated the removal of Article 370 and had also said that 2 flags, 2 constitutions should be done away with as soon as possible.
