963 TERRORISTS AND 413 SECURITY PERSONNEL KILLED IN LAST 5 YEARS

 

 

 

 

Replying to a written question, Union minister of state for home G Kishan Reddy informed the Lok Sabha that over 960 terrorists have been killed in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in the last five years. He further added that during these operations, 413 security personnel have also lost their lives. The Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Shripad Naik in his reply to another question, intimated the Lok Sabha that the Terrorist Initiated Incidents against the Army in Jammu & Kashmir and the North East (Manipur, Nagaland, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh) were as under:

There was one incident of a terrorist attack on the Air Force that took place in January 2016 at Air Force Station Pathankot. No Indian naval ship or establishment has been attacked during the last three years.
