The killing of CRPF personnel in Pulwama by a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist by ramming an explosives-laden vehicle into the soldiers’ convoy, has deeply shocked the countrymen. As the news of the attack came, the people came to the streets and staged protests against Pakistan. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) workers held a massive protest outside Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. There are reports of massive protests from all parts of the country.
People gathered at Statue Circle in Jaipur to show solidarity with the martyred jawans
RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat strongly condemned the attack. “It is a cowardly act, we strongly condemn it. We expect action in response to this incident. We have tolerated a lot,” he said in Nagpur.
BMS workers staging protest in Police custody in Parliament Police Station of Delhi
RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi expressed condolences to the family members of the martyred soldiers. He said in a Tweet that the RSS is with the government and the security forces in this hour of crisis. Shri Joshi called upon the countrymen to extend all possible help and demonstrate unity, forbearance and courage under these challenging circumstances. “The valiant men have died for the nation and it is the nation’s responsibility to take care of their old parents, their wife, children and their needs of education and livelihood. We can individually support the families of the martyrs through the ‘Bharat ke Veer’ app or website launched by the Government of India,” he said in a statement.

Condemning the dastardly attack on CRPF jawans, condolence meetings and massive protests were organised in all towns of Karnataka. Citizens for Democracy organised protests at nearly 100 towns in Bengaluru. Most protests had the candle light protest, two minute silence to pray for the sadgati of the jawans.

The VHP workers staged a protest march from Lajpat Nagar Metro Station to Central Market in South Delhi. In a statement VHP working president Shri Alok Kumar said: “We believe that Indian Government will respond to the attack resolutely, firmly and effectively.” BMS workers staged a protest outside Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. They were arrested by the Police and taken to the Parliament Street Police Station where they were released after four hours.
Patriotic People’s Front Assam (PPFA) in Guwahati urged the government to take responsive actions against the terrorists so that they learn a lesson for life. The PPFA pleaded the people of northeast India to remain vigilant against those individuals who often come out with voluminous logic on the basis of India’s constitution, rule of law, humanity etc, but never stand with the victims of terrorism. In Jaipur, a condolence meeting was held at Statue Circle by RSS and other organisations. The message of RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi was also read out. The protestors said they stand with the army and the government at his hour of crisis.
