“Our fight is for Kashmir, not against Kashmiris… Kashmiris have suffered the most due to terrorism, and the rest of the country must stand in their support,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at a rally in Rajasthan’s Tonk.
“In the last few days, what happened where, whether it was a small or big incident, with Kashmiri students in any corner of Hindustan, what happened or not, this is not the issue… Such incidents shouldn’t happen in this country,” the Prime Minister added.
Speaking at the rally, PM Modi said, “When Pakistan got a new PM, I had congratulated him (Imran Khan). I had told him that we together should fight against poverty and illiteracy. He had said to me that he was the son of a Pathan and will stand by his words.”
“Imran Khan had promised that he will act against terrorists. Pulwama is a test of Imran Khan’s leadership,” he said.
He assured the Pulwama attack victims in Rajasthan that ‘not just India, but the entire world is with you”.
This is PM Modi’s first visit to Rajasthan after the state assembly elections.
