The day we shun this mindset we would feel proud of India’s scientific contribution to the entire world,” said national organising secretary of Vijnana Bharati Shri Jayant Sahasrabuddhe, while delivering Rajju Bhaiya Memorial Lecture at Patheya Auditorium on February 11.

Shri Sahasrabudde stressed the need to study India’s scientific tradition in modern perspective. He said the manufacturing of the matchless iron pillar installed outside Qutub Minar in Delhi was not possible without the advanced form of science. He said Swami Vivekananda during his historic speech at the Chicago Convention of Parliament of Religions on September 11, 1893 also mentioned about Spiritual Science along with the modern science and physics. He said the principles of modern science are merely the reflection of the eternal science.
ISRO scientist Dr Jagdish Chandra Vyas said there is no clash between science and spirituality in India, whereas the West believes that dharma and science cannot move together. Spirituality and science have been together in Indian culture since the very beginning.
Earlier, editor of ‘Pathey Kan’ Shri Kanhaiyalal spoke about the life and work of Shri Rajju Bhaiya. Presiding over the function, Yogi Ramannath said the confluence of science and spirituality will produce positive results.
