Another major attraction of Jagrat Hindu Mahasangam was different shapes formed by the swayamsevaks on the ground. The sitting arrangement was made in a way that it formed various shapes including Shri, undivided Bharat, Maa, Swastik, 18.3.18, Om, Dhruv star, Bhagwa Dhwaj, trident, etc.
The family members of the martyrs who were felicitated at the function included Nayab Subedar Parbatsingh Bhati, Lance Naik Agarsingh Rathore, Sepoy Ramsingh Charan, Punamsingh Bhati, Naik Agarsingh Bhati, Rifleman Padamsingh, Sepoy Narpatsingh Bhati, Naik Uttamsingh Bhati, Hawaldar Ummedsingh Bhati, Sepoy Nakhatsingh, Subedar Raiali Khan, Naik Udaysingh Sodha, Inspector Fateh Khan, Nayab Subedar Kishoresingh, Gunner Sukhram Bishnoi, constable Ramanlal, Lance Naik Veerbahadur Singh, Jaisingh Bhati, Naik Narpat Singh Rathore, Paramweer Chakra Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, etc. The felicitation included a shawl, medal and a memento to each.
Addressing the Mahasangam RSS Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh Shri Suresh Chandra said: “All castes are part of the same Hindu society and no caste should have the feeling of superiority. If any part of the society is weak, the entire society remains weak. The great personalities, who worked for social transformation have received equal regards from all segments of the society. Sant Ravidas, Kabir, Valimiki, Dr BR Ambedkar etc are examples of it. The Sangh is working to make the Hindu society stronger by eliminating all caste differences.”
He further said the mammoth gathering of the swayamsevaks at this function is the manifestation of the growing strength and acceptability of the Sangh. He cautioned that as the nation is getting stronger, the elements which are bent upon weakening it are making all out efforts to break unity of the society. Every Hindu should remain vigilant to such elements.
He also referred to lakhs of sewa projects being carried out by the swayamsevaks and also the immediate relief provided by swayamsevaks during any calamity. He said it is because of the growing strength of Bharat that 192 countries of the world have accepted Yoga. Philistine feels that only Bharat can ensure a peace accord between them and Israel. Not only this, Saudi Arab government has provided land for a temple construction there.
Shri Suresh Chandra also remembered the local folk deities including Pujya Ramdevji, Pujya Sadramji Maharaj, Ashapurna Mata, Tanotrai Mata, Kaledungaray Mata, Degrai Mata, Bhadariya Rai Mata, Temade Rai Mata, Namdungar Rai Mata, Panodar Rai Mata, Ghantiyali Mata, Pujya Pabuji, Bhairav Nath, Veer Panraj ji etc. He also remembered the glorious history of Jaisalmer and sacrifices made by the local people for the nation.
Addressing the gathering Major General (Retd) Shri GD Bakshi appealed to the local people to be vigilant, as Pakistan has been hatching different conspiracies to disturb India. Presiding over the function Pujya Parashuram Giri Maharaj from June Akhara Haridwar said the Sangh is sincerely working to restore harmony in the society. Rajasthan Kshetra Pracharak Shri Durgadas, Sah Kshetra Pracharak Shri Nimbaram and other senior Sangh functionaries were also present on the occasion.

Varsh Pratipada in Kishtwar
Kishtwar: In order to celebrate the Varsha Pratipada, the RSS swayamsevaks organised a grand function at the premises of Bharati Vidya Mandir Kishtwar on March 18. Addressing the gathering RSS Sah Prant Pracharak Shri Mukesh Kumar highlighted the significance of Varsh Pratipada celebration. He said the sapling that Dr Hedgewar planted in 1925 at Nagpur has today become such a huge tree that its branches spread not only in every corner of Bharat but throughout the world. Nagar Karyavah Shri Rakesh Kumar introduced the guests. Zila Sanghachalak Shri Roshan Lal and Vibhag Karyavah Shri Chanderkant were the special guests on the occasion.
