Kerala/Report : CPM goes berserk

The CPM in Kerala once again demonstrates that violence is the only tool in their book to evade the embarrassment caused by the traps they jump into. They unleashed ruthless violence in the state in the pretext of protesting against the attempt to disrupt the Press Conference?of Sitaram Yechury in Delhi.

Kerala witnessed a series of violent incidents against BJP on June 7 and 8. This time three major setbacks they do face: One is the wrath of Kerala High Court for misinterpreting its earlier ruling for permitting to reopen the liquor  shops on national highways. Then came the ‘capital embarrassment’ of sharp difference of opinion within the party with respect to the re-election of party supremo Sitaram Yechury to Rajya Sabha with the merciful support of Sonia Congress. The third one is the displeasure of Hindus due to the beef festivals CPM conducted throughout the state.

Then comes the drama enacted in AKG Bhavan on May 7, the so-called attempt to attack Yechury, in the heavily guarded party head quarters. As soon as the news spread, CPM workers, led by their acknowledged leaders, let loose dirty violence in several parts of the state.

The capital city of Thiruvananthapuram witnessed the worst sort of party’s ugly face. CPM men threw petrol bombs into district committee office in the capital city causing severe damages. They attacked BMS office and smashed flag posts, boards and posters of BJP and BMS. BMS office was attacked in Cherthala, Alappuzha District. BJP offices in several parts of Kottayam Districts were attacked. Senior BJP leader LK Advani and family members who came to Kerala for a private visit were forced to sit in a police station; police authorities said, it was part of the security arrangements.  DYFI goons tried to disrupt the convocation ceremony of Central University is Kasaragod, Kerala, addressed by HRD minister Prakash Javadekar.

BJP observed hartal in Thiruvananthapuram District and Cherthala Taluk in protest against the CPM hooliganism.

BJP president Kummanam Rajasekharan attacked CPM for resorting to violence sans taking into consideration the statements of the accused or the police report. The accused, now in police custody, have stated which party they belong to; they have nothing to do with RSS or any Sangh-oriented organization. Kerala CPM spreads lies which even Yechury has not stated. Police has registered 258 cases on a single day, June 7, against CPM workers for violence.

RSS condemns the attack and allegations

The RSS condemned the brazen attempt by undemocratic elements to disrupt the press conference of CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechuri in Delhi. It is a matter of record that the RSS does not support such anti-social elements, nor such undemocratic methods of subverting any lawful activity.

At the same time, RSS also condemns the baseless attempt of CPI(M) to drag the name of RSS in this incident. This only indicates that CPI(M) is scared and worried about the continuous and unabated growth and impact of RSS in Bharat. On the contrary, RSS workers in Kerala are facing the brunt of Communist style of undemocratic ways of subverting truth and the Communist style of hooliganism and lawlessness.
