(Bharat vs India,March 26); This refers to Shri Ajay Bhardwaj”s article titled ‘Bharat vs India’ published in Organiser. Kudos to Organiser for publishing this informative and useful article. Shri Ajay rightly says that the name of our country i.e. Bharat or Bharatvarsh and geographical dimensions were given by Adi Shakaracharya by founding four dhaams at Badrinath, Rameswaram, Dwarka and Puri. May I add that this dharmic or modernly called cultural unity was strengthened by
establishment of twelve Jyotirlingas and about fifty Shaktipithas in the present SAARC countries . Shaiva and Shakta scholars can throw more light on these. Bharat has been called by various names by foreigners, viz., Indos by Greeks, Inde/Indiene by Europeans, Hind by Arabs, Persians, Turks, Hindia by Indonesians and India by the British who ruled the country for about 200 years. Britishers changed the names of Ganga Sagar, Sindhu Sagar, Ramar Sethu/Ram Setu to Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Adam”s Bridge respectively. Myanmar or Burma was earlier known
as Brahmadesh.

Words are no longer needed (Genetically Barbaric, May 14); This refers to the front page story of Organiser titled ‘Genetically Barbaric’ by Santosh Verma. As if Pakistan –sponsored terror acts on Indian soil and the repeated ceasefire violations along the Line of Control ( LoC ) were not enough, Pakistan has now shown the temerity to commit decapitation of two Indian soldiers , followed by their mutilation that categorically falls under the group of overt acts and are against all norms of civilisational conduct. Unless Pakistan is given back in the same coin, they will continue with such inhuman barbaric acts of violence as they from our past records that India would not retaliate back. No dialogue or soft attitude shall teach them a lesson. Also, peace can come in Kashmir only by an appropriate action by the Indian Army. The Army must be give free hand to deal with Islamabad. Contrarily, India has sent back 50 Pakistan school children visiting India the same day on a student exchange programme in view of the escalating tension between the two countries. Outlandishly, the live and let live motto is beyond the Pakistani heads. |
Implement Complete Exchange of Population
(Stateman to the core, April 16);This refers to the story titled ‘Stateman to the core’ by Dr T H Chowdary in Organiser. The writer has mentioned many qualities of Dr Ambedkar, but has omitted one most important aspect of his being a true nationalist and a visionary. This is proved by his writings in the book Pakistan or The Partition of India, published a few years before creation of Pakistan in 1947. Dr Ambedkar has mentioned on page 81 that , “Muslims look upon Hindus as kafirs, who deserve more to be exterminated than protected” and from page 153 to 175, has given details of crimes and cruelties done by Muslims against the Hindus, in various parts of India. He critically analysed Muslim problem from various angles and advised again and again that it was in the interest of Hindus to accept Pakistan , with complete exchange of population. Modi Government must implement the advice of Dr Ambedkar by defranchising Muslims and suspending their citizenship rights and ask Pakistan and Bangladesh to take them. Pakistan /Bangladesh have practically liquidated entire Hindu-Sikh population in most cruel manner. Why we should keep Muslims in India?

China Back-stabbing India
(Arunachal up in arms against China, May7); Apropos to the article titled ‘Arunachal up in arms against China’ by NJ Thakuria in Organiser. During the period when Communism was at ascendancy, the then king of Sweden had remarked in a meeting that “if one is not a Socialist till the age of 21 it shows that he has no heart and if he continues to be a Socialist after 21 years it shows the person has no head”. As conservatism let down Communism, by and large, China became an ideologue of vociferate and maleficent . Once shouted at roof-tops Hindi–Chini bhai bhai China back-stabbed India by occupying Aksai chin area and is now hand-in-glove with Pakistan doing a miscreant’s play at LoC by supplying hi-tech war weapons and training to Pakistani defence personnel so that it can raise voice against India. Decrying the International Law China claims the entire South China Sea as its own territory, it has built a series of artificial Islands with military-length airstrips and has put up anti-aircraft weapons. China and North Korea have been acting as corroborative slatterns developing weaponry thereby threatening the world by their military power. Even in Indus Water dispute it is causing disruption to rightful utilisation of the area in South China Sea which is within the jurisdiction of India and is constructing dam across Brahmaputra to stop flow of water into Assam and other states starving people for want of water. China’s bedevilled attempt not to materialise the apolitical-cum-spiritual leader Dalai Lama to Arunachal Pradesh has no parallel in world history. With so much of jiggery-pokery against India , China cannot be taken into confidence.

Lalu in Soup
The Supreme Court’s order against Lalu comes at a most inopportune time for the RJD leader. He is already on the back foot as a result of the public exposure of his taped conversation with Bihar convict and Siwan strongman, Mohammad Shahabuddin . If the audio tapes are to be believed, the two were heard discussing governance matters with Lalu acceding to the convict’s demands. Equally shocking is that Shahabuddin is calling from the jail( how did he get access to the phone? ) and that Lalu had no hesitation in entertaining his call during which , among other things , the shifting of a Superintendent of Police was also discussed. Lalu’s links with the muscleman–politician are old and have been a matter of public knowledge. But the audio tapes revealed that the RJD leader was functioning over the head of State’s Chief Minister who apparently had not been in the know. The twin developments — the apex court’s directive for the conduct of separate trials and the secret tapes —are bound to impact the coalition regime in Bihar, in which the RJD and the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal ( United ) are partners. Will these strengthen Nitish Kumar’s hands vis-a vis Lalu? Will the unease that already exists between the two partners would now magnify and lead to a political realignment? But one thing is certain that Lalu cannot breath easy.
