Create strong and complex passwords
Understandably it is difficult to remember strong password but please remember culprits can easily guess an easy password as well. A simple trick to create complex password is to include letters, number and a special character.
Share your e-mail address only with people you trust
Please resist from sharing your e-mail address to anyone and everyone if not required. Never post your e-mail address on sites you do not trust, as it is a sure way to invite huge amount of spam e-mails. In case you do receive spam e-mails, there is always an option to unsubscribe at the
bottom of the email, please do so. You can also mark the emails you don’t wish to see as spam.
Do not reply to spam e-mail messages
If you reply to spam messages it can result in attracting more and more such messages. Simply unsubscribe or mark such messages spam.
Watch out for phishing scams
Such scams are fraudulent e-mails directing you to fake websites that may look exactly like the ones you are used to working on. They will entice you to enter your personal information that can result in cyber theft.
Obtain a Security Software
It is very important to select good security
software to protect your computer. New viruses are created every single day that can severely
damage your personal data and steal your information as well. Just installing security software is not enough; you have to ensure it is kept up-to-date as well.

opening attachments and downloading files
Never open an attachment that sounds dubious. It can contain virus that will infect your computer instantly. Please make sure to scan every attachment with your anti-virus software before opening.
Beware of pop-ups
A lot of time while surfing Internet we get pop-ups which seem from a real website asking for urgent attention. They may even say that you have been infected with a
virus. Never entertain such pop-ups and just close them. If you fill any information, it can cause theft of your personal data.
