Pune: “The inspiring and dedicated work consistently done by Apang Kalyankari Shikshan Sanstha and Sanshodhan Kendra is not only a motivating factor for many, but a role model for individuals and institutions working in the fields of development and rehabilitation of Divyang persons,” said RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhayyaji Joshi. He was speaking at 60th year celebration of the Kendra on January 23.
Bhayyaji further said that on attaining 60 years of age, the individuals think of retiring, whereas in terms of the social institutions, it becomes further important to contribute more and more in terms of the wider interest of the society. The task carried out by the office bearers of the institutions underlines the importance of sanskars for those doing social work with a cause and concern.
Shri Suresh Hawre, chairman of Sai Sansthan, Shirdi, appealed to the Divyang students not to have any ill
feeling for being Divyang as it itself is their strength to achieve much more difficult tasks in the life. He also appealed to the people in the society to come forward and support such initiatives not only with the sense of responsibility, but also as a part of social commitment. Shri Dilip Kamble, Minister of State for Social Development in Maharashtra made a specific mention that as a Sangh swayamsevak, he has always taken a pride in getting associated with such institutions. He said the success stories of such institutes are inspiration even for the government.
Earlier, Shri Murlidhar Kachare, working president of the institute, introduced activities of the Kendra. Shri Bhayyaji Joshi also released the special issue of Vivek. He also facilitated  Saksham and Shri Rahul Deshmukh for their significant contribution to the cause of Divyangs.

RSS Defamation Case: Rahul Again Runs Away

Bhiwandi: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, an accused of defaming RSS, appeared at Bhiwandi court in Maharashtra on January 30, but pleaded for adjournment of the case on technical grounds. Immediately consenting to his request, the Court adjourned the case. Now the next
hearing will be on March 3.
After a brave poser to fight the charges of defaming RSS for involvement in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, it seems Rahul has lost the confidence to logically and factually face the trial and now pleading for more and more time. He pleaded adjourning on the ground that he has not received the newspaper cuttings and not ready for the case. The case was filed by a RSS functionary, Rajesh Kunte, over Rahul’s speech in Bhiwandi on March 6, 2014.
Rahul had a chance to get cleared of defamation charges after he backtracked and told the Supreme Court that he never meant to accuse the whole of the RSS of assassinating Gandhi, in August 2015. After being criticised for backtracking, he told the apex court in September that he stands by his 2014 statement that the RSS killed Mahatma Gandhi and is ready to face trial for it. During his last appearance in November, the Congress vice-president was granted bail within minutes, who used the time for a brave political show in Bhiwandi.
