By far the most remarkable success that the “Make in India” programme has achieved so far is the willingness of Lockheed Martin to shift its entire assembly line from Texas, America to India. This company, renowned for manufacture of various types of aeroplanes, including fighters and bombers, is best known for the much coveted F-16 and F-18 fighter jets. The company proposes to make Block-70, the most advanced version of F-16, entirely in our country. Pakistan failed to procure F-16 from USA despite its best efforts recently. India will get the latest model of F-16 without efforts. Bravo Namo.

Understand the real meaning of education
( Organiser, August 7); This refers to articles ‘The Deadly Combination’ by Arun Lakshman and  ‘My Tryst with Sunder Nagri’ by Ravijot Singh in Organiser. Both these article brings one thing in common that education system implemented by the Congress Party has totally failed and what we see today are the crude fruits of that education system.   This education system has totally failed to teach the concept of nationalism to our citizens . The Congress Party implemented the concept of Divide and Rule which it learnt from the Britishers to secure its position without bothering about the country. This necessitated Tavleen Singh to write in India’s Broken Tryst that, “Indian schools do not teach Indian children their own languages or enough  about magnificent heritage from classical time.” We totally failed after Independence to make people understand the real meaning of ‘Education’ . Today time has come when we should come up with the education system which teaches nationalism  and every primary class pass out should say that he is an Indian instead of saying that he is a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or  of any other religion.

Educating the masses is important
Let us not forget how the Congress Party fooled us with slogans like garibi hatao and did nothing after wards. Let us show the people how the UPA ignored the interests of the oppressed. Instead , people should talk about the various programmes rolled out by the BJP government that has helped the Dalits. Educating the masses is important.

China’s growing influence
China’s growth investment in the Himalayan nation is seemed to be a cause of concern for India in the recent days. While listing the country’s top five bilateral development partners on the basis of Official Development Assistance (ODA) disbursement that includes the US, the UK, Japan, China and Switzerland, India failing to qualify one , in the list for the first time in the last five years, needs to be taken seriously for sure. As against China’s investment of $57 million as the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), India’s $ 18 million comes as poor third in its landlocked neighbour Nepal. However India’s long standing commitment to Nepal cannot be measured only in terms of FDI because the latter shares long historical and cultural ties with the former for ages. But then why India is failing to register as ‘the most influential trading partner and power’ for Nepal? Simply leaving our backyard to China may pose a potential threat to our national security and many India-Nepal observers read it as a significant failure on our diplomatic front as well. However with the coming of Shri Narendra Modi’s Government at the Centre, the India –Nepal relationship has taken an upward movement.

We expect much more
I am very thankful to  the  NDA-2  for sanctioning Rs.500 crore for Gokul Gram Project and opening two Genetic Laboratories for Indigenous Breed of Cows . However we expect much more from the  government .I feel that we must  amend  Article 48 of the Indian Constitution, thus correcting our legislature and formation of ‘COW MINISTRY’ at the State and Central level.

 Politics of Kashmiri leaders
(Instigated Unrest , July 24);This is with reference to the cover story of Organiser titled ‘Instigated Unrest’ by Deepak Zazia.  Here I would like to say that Kashmiri leaders send their own children to foreign universities to study but use the children of poor Kashmiris to throw stones at the security forces. They brighten the future of their own children but darken the future of the poor in the name of separation. Kashmir was purchased by the Maharaja Gulab Singh. So it is our property. Alaska was also purchased by US from the Czar of Russia. If the people of Alaska convert to Islam and want to join Saudi Arabia will the US allow it? Religious freedom does not mean freedom to secede.

Time for Hindus to act
( The Deadly Combination , August 7); Apropos  the article titled ‘The Deadly Combination’ by  Arun Lakshman  in Organiser. It has been rightly written in the article that “With stunning revelations about ISIS gaining ground in Kerala, Love jihad portends ominous consequences for the society. But no one wants to talk about it as everyone is burying their heads in the sand ignoring the big elephant in the room.” Love jihad is at its peak in Kerala, as most of the Hindus are in utter poverty. The Sangh parivar organisations are trying their best to prevent Love jihad. But most of the pseudo-secular Hindus believe that it is the duty of the Sangh parivar to bring the Hindus into prosperity. They  are supporting the LDF and UDF in elections, who closes their eyes on Islamic terrorism. The Sangh alone cannot prevent the rise of Islamic terrorism. The Hindus should educate their children of the menace. But Hindus are bothered about their self and make ways to earn money. For them, politics is the game through which  they can be part of UDF or LDF for five years to make money. If Hindus of Kerala moves in this way, they will be butchered in the near future.

A Right Step

Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh’s decision to attend the South Asian Association For Regional Cooperation (Saarc) Home Minister’s meet, ignoring terror threats, is a step in the right direction. Saarc is an ideal platform for India to take into confidence friendly countries in its fight against terror. Ironically Pakistan which has borne the brunt of terror of the worst kind, is yet to come to terms with ways of handling its internal enemies. Islamabad’s refusal to acknowledge the non–state actors operating from its soil and its continuous preparation of cross border terrorism, is disturbing and detrimental to its interests. Eventually, Singh hopes to engage the attention of member countries and infuse sense in an adamant Islamabad. Moreover it appears that there can be no substitute for dialogue in bridging the nearly beyond repair attitude of Pakistan. Talks are the only way to halt terror on its track.

Too much increase
(The Scalling Exercise , July 17); This refers to ‘ The Scaling Exercise ‘ by Shashank Saurav in Organiser, regarding fixing of pay-scale and wage structure of Central Government employees . It is worth noting , that minimum wages of Rs 55/- in 1946, have been increased to 18,000 in 2016, which is nearly 350 times more, whereas inflation during this period for essential items of daily use is nearly 100 to 120 times. Why the Government is paying 3 ½ times more than the inflation. It may be stated, that this pay of Rs 18,000 is very high as compared to wages in private sector. Government will have to resort to heavy doses of deficit financing  every year resulting in increase in inflation. It would be impossible to reduce the wage structure of existing employees and to reduce it to their market value. The only solution would be to reduce the pay scales of new recruits and to bring it to market value. Secondly, there are many useless departments, created as show pieces. One such department, which has come to my notice, is ‘Department of Public Grievances’. It simply works as post office, and does not redress any grievance, nor it has any power to do so. Such departments should be closed to reduce unproductive expenditure.
