(Economy in Vedic Government, May 26); This refers to ‘Economy in Vedic Government’ by Pt SD Safwalekar reproduced in Organiser dated 5.6.2016, from its previous issue dated 26.5.1952. Quoting from Upanishads and Mahabharat, the writer has stated that during ancient times, when Hindus followed Vedas, there were no thieves , no misers and no drunkards. No one was uneducated and no men or women had loose character. Everybody followed dharma and his and her duties. However in the present set up, based on western values of life, there is continuous rise in crimes despite a number of Laws , Police , Judiciary and Administration. This is resulting in increase in expenditure on unproductive employment, and more burden on economy. Nobody talks about virtuous life and good sanskaras through dharma shiksha, except candle marches against heinous crimes. Whenever there is some proposal for lecture on Gita in educational institutions, or teaching of Yoga, etc. there is lot of hue and cry against saffronisation and Hinduism. The basic problem is that when British left truncated Bharat , power came in the hands of Gandhi- Nehru and their followers, who were allergic to Hindu dharma and denounced it as communal, only to hide the sins and crimes of Muslims who had created Pakistan. This situation has to be reversed by amending the Constitution of Bharat. In case it is not achieved by Modi’s Government, all the sacrifices done would go waste.

Burden on Congress
After the DLF land scam, Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra has been involved in yet another scam as has been confirmed by the arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari. It is known that there is no smoke without fire. As usual the Congress will go all guns blazing to protect Robert Vadra, saying that it is a vendetta politics, but actually , the grand old party has been exposed and this blame game will not fetch them any sympathy. Sonia Gandhi and the Congress leadership should realise that the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and Robert Vadra are nothing but a huge liability for the party and that they are the main culprits behind the drowning of the party. But it looks that Sonia Gandhi is deliberately not reading in between the lines so as to avoid the ugly truth. The Congress is destined to doom and we may soon move towards a Congress-free Bharat sooner or later.

India must raise voice
Voicing serious concern on the deteriorating security scenario in Afghanistan, india’s demand for United Nation’s sanctions against the new Taliban chief Mawlawi Haibatullah Akhundzada is considered a timely action which represents the country’s stand on global proliferation of terrorism. India must take up the matter with major-terror affected nations like the US, China and the European Union.

Government’s FDI reforms are  path-breaking

The NDA Government’s decision to open up Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in nine important economic sectors is a path – breaking as well as a trendsetting move. Domestic business has been stagnant over the years due to less than satisfactory environment, inadequate competition, bureaucratic hurdles and corruption. People were waiting for much needed growth, and employment generation, the two ambitious promises of the NDA government. The government has done well to deliver a firm message on its intent to relax norms, simplify rules and remove roadblocks so that ‘ease of doing business’ will bring more foreign investors to the domestic market. In an astute move, the government has aimed at areas where FDI was unattractive and hard to come by. Defence, civil aviation, food, e-ecommerce, retail trade were sectors which badly needed that extra  push to go miles. The government’s plans to provide all domestic business sectors a level-playing field is praise  worthy.

Public must be made aware
(Gaining New Grounds, May 29); Congrats to Organiser for its cover story titled ‘Gaining New Grounds’ by Shri A Jayaram. Victory for BJP in Assam and good entry in West Bengal and Kerala has shut the mouths of all Sonia and AAP lovers. Assam victory is as important as victory of Modiji in Gujarat. We need to make Assam a model State and a talking point in all other neighbouring states. BJP must project to the public its achievements during the last two years. Public memory is short and anti- BJP media will harp the same old tune that nothing has been done by the BJP government, if public is not made aware of the achievements.
