Ranchi: Jharkhand Governor Smt Draupadi Murmu stressed the need to promote indigenous skills to achieve self-reliance in life. While releasing the special issue of Sewa Surabhi, a Sewa Bharati Jharkhand publication from Ranchi focusing on indigenous skills and self-reliance, the Governor on June 12 said the modern skills may fail to ensure employment, the indigenous skill are still sure to provide employment. Need of the hour is that the people should be awakened about it and they should be imparted training as to how to use the indigenous skills in changing needs. She said the young generation should be motivated to take up indigenous skills for employment. She called upon the people associated with the Sewa Bharati to impart training of indigenous skills on large scale all over the State.
CMD of CCL Shri Gopal Singh said the country produces about five lakh engineers every year but hardly four lakh get jobs and others remain as educated unemployed. Art and Culture Minister Shri Amar Bauri stressed the need on better management of the human resources.
Durga Vahini training camp in Delhi
Delhi: A seven-day training camp of Durga Vahini, the women wing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, was organised in Delhi from June 5 to 11. About 150 women from all over Delhi participated in the camp organised in Gandhi Nagar. Apart from self-defence and personality development they were educated about their role in national development, propagating swadeshi, curbing terrorism etc. Speaking at the concluding function on June 11, Sushri Mala Rawal, national convener of Durga Vahini, said women are playing a constructive role in the nation building . Sadhvi Haripriya stressed the need on prerservation of the values of life.
Jihadis causing
exodus of Hindus from Kairana: VHP
New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) termed the exodus of Hindus from Kairana, Western Uttar Pradesh, as an act of jihadis. VHP joint general secretary Dr Surendra Jain said the township was Hindu-majority 40 years ago and is now having only 8-per cent Hindus. He said Kairana is not alone, there are many other places in the Western UP including Kandhla, Gangoh and Thanabhavan where Hindus are resorting to mass out-migration. He said the atrocities perpetrated by Muslims were overlooked and the jihadis were encouraged to carry out their activities. But now these people must understand that the Hindus are prepared and can defend themselves. The result of such confrontations is already well-known. VHP calls upon the State government to rein in the jihadi elements and tighten the law and order in the State.
Experience, Interact and Engage in nation building
Chennai: Chennai unit of RSS invited some families of the city to spend a day together to experience, interact and engage and join hands in the process to rebuild the nation. A total 275 people (both men and women) from different walks of the life participated in the programme organised on June 12.
The event began with Vande Mataram. Prant Sanghachalak Dr ML Raja threw light on the glorious achievements of Bharat in various fields. Sah Prant Karyavah Shri Ramakrishna Prasad gave a presentation on the brief history of RSS. Soon after that the participants were divided into various groups and an interaction session was conducted. IT Pramukh of Southern Zone Shri Suresh Nayak, Prant Karyavah Shri Sambamurthy, Prant Pracharak Shri P M Ravikumar, Sah Prant Pracharak Shri D Shankar and Prant Sampark Pramukh Shri B Prakash answered the queries from the audience and touched on how they can engage with the RSS in carrying out constructive activities.
At the end a practical shakha involving the participants was conducted. The participants enthusiatically participated in the shakha.
RSS first year OTC concludes in Delhi
Delhi: The first year Sangh Shiksha Varga of Delhi Prant concluded on June 11. A total of 248 workers between the age group of 15 to 40 participated in the 20 day Varga which began on May 23. They included three swayamsevaks from Maharashtra and one from Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the workers RSS Uttar Kshetra Pracharak Pramukh Shri Rameshwar said today the nation’s glory has enhanced all over the world and it is because the leadership of the nation is in the right hands. He stressed the need for social harmony for better and faster development of the country. Presiding over the concluding ceremony former Ambassador Shri Azad Singh Toor said it is because of the feeling of nation development that the Varga participants are full of energy after undergoing rigorous training.
‘Let Nation Speak and Vibrate Samskrit’
Tamil Nadu unit of Samskrita Bharati entered its new premises in Chennai on June 9. Addressing the gathering Shri Joe D’Cruz, State president of Samskrita Bharati, said achieving karyalaya must not be the only goal. Let the nation speak and vibrate Samskrit. Veteran Sangh leader Shri K Suryanarayana Rao narrated the emergence of Samskrit Bharati with a motto that the so-called dead language be available to common man. Citing various examples on how even un-educated people could learn this language, he appealed that Samskrit language should be the jana basha of the country.
