Aquatic Engineering: The three-fourth of the earth is occupied by water, which we call sea. Aquatic engineering as a branch involves an understanding the sea architecture and science. The curriculum of the course involves manufacturing of the ships and their maintenance and other water boats. Aquatic engineers have full responsibility for technical management while on the ships. The youth who are allured by sea, can go ahead with this career option.
Eligibility: To be an aquatic engineer one requires a BTech in Sea Engineering and a PG Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with more than 60% marks in Science subjects in 10+2, and then admission is       possible through entrance exams.
Opportunities and Salary: Aquatic engineers are employed in the areas of design, research and consultancy as well. They have opportunities in designing and building firms as well. There are opportunities in Navy and Merchant Navy as well. One is 100% assured for an employment in this field. The starting salary varies between 70K to 1 Lakh rupees and multiplies manifold with experience.
