(Organiser, 28.2.2016); This refers to the front page story titled ‘Detoxifying JNU’ in Organiser by Shri Arun Srivastava. Of all the obnoxious and anti-national slogans raised in JNU on February 9, the slogan Afzal ham sharminda hain, tere katil jinda hain  (Afzal, we are ashamed that your killers are alive) has a threatening ring about it. One is reminded of a similar slogan raised in Kashmir after February 11, 1984 when a dreaded terrorist Maqbool Butt was hanged at Tihar Jail. This slogan continued to rent the air in the Valley for five years till  November  4,1989 when Justice Neel Kanth Ganjoo, who as the judge of Special Court set up under the Enemy Agents Act had sentenced Butt to death, was brutally murdered by three  terrorists in broad daylight in downtown Srinagar. The JNU slogan may be a precursor to a similar likelihood. There are chances that other Supreme Court judges who were involved in sentencing Afzal might be attacked.

Reap What You Sow

( Organiser, 10.1 2016);This refers to the article titled ‘Reap What You Sow’ by Manoj Sharma in Organiser. The writer has discussed in detail, extremism being practiced by Muslims against Christians in various countries. He has also mentioned that the Communists support Muslims in opposing ‘Yoga’ considered un-secular and un–Islamic by them and Christians are raising bogey of intolerance in Bharat against the Hindus. In fact the real culprits are the anti-Hindu Congress and its associates who raise bogey of intolerance. It is eviden , that the Hindus  are being victimised by all the four, i.e. Congress, Muslims , Communists and the Christians. But it is the Muslims and the Communists who are more dangerous for us than the Christians. In fact it is only the West/Christians countries, who have now become serious to check the growth of Muslim terrorists throughout the world. Bharat must support them and get support from them in dealing with the Muslim terrorists in our country. It is not good that the writer has shown sympathy with the Muslims by writing that “to a great extent the concern for the Muslim countries can’t be brushed aside”. Such attitude is not in our national interest.

Still Dissatisfied

Almost all Islamic countries in the world have strict Islamic laws and have very limited freedom for other religions. While we have a Hindu majority in Bharat and have a functioning democracy, I wonder still how Muslims in Bharat speak of intolerance, injustice and victimisation towards them. No other country extend them Haj subsidy or grants to madrasas for teaching Islam and Arabic, excluding Bharat. The best part is that these very people are against Sanskrit, Yoga and Surya namaskar. Recently some of the Muslim clerics crossed the limit when they openly declared that Muslim Personal Laws are supreme over the Supreme Court of India.

Farooq Abdullah’s Sickularism

This refers to the comment of Farooq Abdullah that “if Indianisation of education means saffronisation , it just won’t work”. I want to covey him that Indianisation of education doesn’t mean solely saffronisation of education. Indianisation of education basically means that we should not forget our traditional values, Vedas and Upanishads etc. I don’t think that if we introduce stories based on Panchatantra and Jatak tales, in our education system it will lead to  saffronisation of education. Again take Vedic Mathematics, Indian Astronomy, Arthashastra, Ayurveda, etc. which are purely scientific and are included in Indian Education system, can we call it saffronisation of education. Let us not forget that it was ancient Indian science that gave the concept of ‘Zero’ to the world. Can Mr Abdullah explain to us that how far is Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharat are  less than any political science subjects. We appeal to Mr Farroq Abdullah to come out of his concept so-called Sicklarism and perview education in a border view.
