(Organiser, 15.11.15); This is with regard to the content of the  article ‘God’s Own Country or Godless Country?’ by M Surendra Nathan  published in Organiser. Hats off to the author of the article, tearing off the mask of hypocrisy in Kerala, “the God’s Own Country”. But unfortunately, it is now under the clutches of religious fundamentalists and politicians who play second fiddle to them. Both the opposition and ruling parties have conspired to issue land ownership document (Pattayam in Malayalam), to prime forest land to encroachers. Acres of land in major cities worth crores of rupees is being sold to certain minority religious institutions at throw away prices. Cold blooded brutal political murderers are not uncommon and it is not at all news in Kerala now. Islamic terrorists had started the terrorist activities in Kerala even before the ISI terrorist have shown their ugly face abroad. Kerala had been developed as a nursery for such terrorism. The palm of a college Professor (Mr. Joseph) had been cut in public by the Islamic terrorist alleging that he had used the name of Prophet Muhammed in a question paper. Many banned terrorist groups have developed their recruiting centres in Kerala and they are conducting training camps here without any interference from the state govt. The first Bharateeya recruited to IS army,  Asu Nasir is from Kerala. In Kannur District, some of the primary school children have not yet been recovered from the trauma of having the splash of blood gushing from the neck of their beloved master sprayed on their face, when the CPM goondas stabbed him while on duty in the school for the only reason that he is a supporter of BJP. When a ban on cow slaughter was imposed in Maharashtra, the CPM activists in the State reacted by killing some innocent dumb animals to conduct ‘Beef Festival’. Many patriots in the country sacrificed their life in honour of Bharatmata, but a college magazine in Kerala issued by the college union run by SFI students depicted the Goddess as prostitute. It is in the streets of this State that people involved in online sex racket were the icon of ‘Kiss of love’ propagated as a progressive youth movement by most of the medias here. It is only in Kerala that the chief secretary of the State had come forward to announce that evangelisation is his goal and persuaded everybody to follow him – no action taken by the Government. It is a fact that one of the State ministers here is using  a note counting machine in his residence to assess the bribe. Still the State Cabinet is supporting him. Thus by all means, Kerala is scooping down to become the Devils Land. There should be somebody to come forward and declare “the king is naked”.

CHANDRAN  NK,
Kannur

I can understand the feelings of the writer who is stated to be a Mumbai-based Lawyer and Law Lecturer.  It is a fact that the Muslim community, especially in Malabar area has become more organised and powerful, during the last 60 years, politically, economically, educationally etc. etc.   Because of the vote -bank politics of the political parties in Kerala, the so – called minority communities in Kerala are enjoying all benefits.  In spite of all these facts, the Hindu awakening has taken place only because of the RSS activities in the State from the very beginning.I cent per cent disagree with the writer's opinion, that the youths, born after the Communist Government consolidated power in the State, know nothing about the ancient spirituality, human values based scriptures, folk-lores and civilisation. If such be the case, the Sabarimala Temple, Sree Guruvayoorappan Temple, and hundreds of other temples which have become world famous during these 60 years might not have been there. Similarly, the writer's statements contained in last page of the article, i.e. the two books introduced in the syllabus, 90% of the regular students, staff, officers, VC etc. in Calicut University are Muslims, etc. are baseless.  He should have made detailed studies on these subjects before his findings.

CP UNNIKRISHNAN,
Ernakulam

Cow—A Divine Animal

This refers to the editorial titled ‘Cattle Class’  by Shri Jug Suraiya in The Times of India dated 30.10.2015.In the editorial he has described cow as a garbage disposer since it consumes all types of rubbish and thus in away is a cleaning agent. I totally accept his views, since the ‘Surya Ketu’ nerve at the back of  Bharateeya breed cow absorbs harmful pollutants ,radiations and cleans the atmosphere. In fact in spite of the fact that it consumes all types of rubbish it produces milk which no machinery or scientific gadget manufactured by man is capable of doing so. Therefore we must accept that cow is really a divine animal and thus should not be slaughtered.
