UPA hoax of “Hindu terror” boomerangs (Organiser, 17.2.2013); One is shocked to see the heart-rending pathetic health condition of young Hindu Sadhavi Pragya Singh Thakur as seen in the picture published in Organiser. Seeing the photo on the front page of the issue it is clear that she has been subjected to the inhuman, worst than third degree torture in police custody. All this is happening only because she is a Hindu and the UPA government and its allies are bent upon to project Hindus as saffron terror, otherwise never a non Hindu or Muslim detainee has been reduced to the condition of just a breathing skeleton. Non Hindus and Muslims are treated as state guests and given the best of treatment. Infact I feel that the RSS and the BJP should put their full might in getting her released from the Central Jail, Bhopal where she has been locked up on a false charge and is being subjected to inhuman treatment.

Narendra Modi can be the only torch-bearer of future Bharat A decade of decadence is what we are facing now in Bharat. No role model. A big mess. A toxin in the form of scams, scandals and corruption has left Bharat breathless. Who is going to resuscitate? We the people of Bharat in the 2014 elections. A sincere request to the electorate of Bharat is that they should see the present government slide towards the exit. To bail out Bharat from this morass is not an easy thing for all that is dark and ugly has dug deep into its vitals, but it is never too late. All those who think of country’s welfare and future should pause, think and ask themselves, “Will any nation survive for long committing scam after scam and resorting to unforgivable corruption?” For the one per cent of our country the rest, the majority are not visible. They don’t exist for them, those who are struggling to make both ends meet. Wealth distribution is uneven. The rich have fortified themselves to last a lifetime . No remorse or guilt haunts them. They flaunt their riches and pricy status symbols a crafty, cleaver one per cent. The docile Bharatiya, the aam aadmi seems to have no will or strength to join together to throw out this present government. The time has come—2014—it is now or never. Bring the man, no other than Narendra Modi to head our nation. He is the only one capable of giving us an identity, pride, self confidence, and values like honesty, integrity and incorruptibility. Narendra Modi is an experienced man, aware of the pulse of the people and their aspirations and expectations. He is the one who can put an end to this dynastic rule.

Baker Laboratory became a victim of hooliganism I fail to understand that what is the relationship between West Bengal’s Left versus Trinamool Congress battle which took place at Delhi to do with the historic Baker Laboratory at the Presidency University, Kolkata, the workplace of Jagdish Chandra Bose, Satyendra Nath Bose and Meghnad Sahu. The historic laboratory was vandalised by the hooligans soon after the clash. The laboratory had completed 100 years on January 13 this year and is undergoing Rs 50 crore renovation. Many of the original equipments used by Jagdish Chandra Bose, Satyendra Nath Bose and Meghnad Sahu were damaged by the goons. Conservation architect Parth Ranjan Das who is carrying out the renovation of the laboratory has rightly said, “If Baker Lab can be vandalised today so can Victoria Memorial or Indian Museum.” The British government had built the Laboratory for JC Bose in acknowledgement of his path breaking research in physics. Despite of the fact that we Indians give so much importance to Sanskriti, we start destroying public property if our demands are not met, without seeing its consequences.

Gujarat becomes peaceful under Modi Few years ago, karsevaks were ruthlessly burnt in the Sabarmati Express. The place of this ghastly incident was Godra in Gujarat. While the pseudo-secular fascists observed a deafening silence on this issue, some even justified this barbaric cruelty by blaming the karsevaks for provocating the culprits by shouting Jai Sri Ram! Under the Chief Ministership of Shri Narendra Modi after this incident, no riots have taken place in Gujarat, which was known for riots during the Congress misrule. If every State of India have a Chief Minister like Shri Modi, violence will be completely wiped off from Bharat.

Now whom to blame? Till March 10, 2013, eleven suspected accused persons have been apprehended by the police in connection with the recent bomb blast in Hyderabad city of Andhra Pradesh. It is pertinent to note that coincidentally all of them are Muslims. I would like to ask the honourable Union Home Minister that whether he has got any guts to call this ghastly bomb blast as an act of green terror or Islamic terror, as he had made annotation on bomb blast of Samjhauta Express and Malegaon as an act of saffron or Hindu terror.

Multiculturalism triggers civilisation clashes (Organiser, 25.11, 2012); Apropos of ‘Multiculturalism triggers civilisation clashes’ by Shri S Gurumurthy in Organiser. The writer is regarded as a champion of the ‘Think Tank” of the ‘Sangh Parivar’, but, his writings do not indicate, whether he is opposing a concept or promoting it. On Shri Gowalkar, the 25h installment of his article is also rampant with contradictions.

Sinhalese issue in Sri Lanka The Sinhalese in Sri Lanka have proclaimed that they are also ethnic population of India from Odisha cult similair to Sri Lankan Tamils, perhaps to counter them. We fear, such statement may disturb and jeopardise their identity of Sinhalese in Sri Lanka and wish that thay do not make such mistake again in future. The Sinhalese must be proud enough to say that they are the inhabitants of the virgin soil of Sri Lanka and are “Sons of soil” of that country and have birthright over it.
