VHP protests attack on Hindus in Bangladesh

VISHWA Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal held a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on March 6 against the recent atrocities on Bangladeshi Hindus. Hundreds of workers of VHP and Bajrang Dal held a strong protest and demanded security for Hindus’ life and property in Bangladesh.

Addressing the protestors advocate Prakash Sharma, national spokesperson of VHP, said the  minority Hindus are being targeted by Islamic fundamentalists in different areas of Noakhali, Chittagong, Barisal, Bagerhat and Ghazipur, but the governments and Human Right groups are mum. He demanded relief camps by BSF in border areas, for the safety and security of those approaching our borders and rehabilitation of those displaced inside Bangladesh.

A memorandum to this effect was also given to President of Bharat with a copy  of the same to President of Bangladesh, International Commission for Human Rights and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of Bharat, for immediate action.

Many office bearers of VHP including state vice persident Shri  Brij Mohan Sethi, Shri Ujagar Singh and Shri Jagannath Bansal, general secretary Shri Satyendra Mohan, secretary Shri Rampal Singh, organising secretary Shri Karuna Prakash, state Bajarang  Dal chief Shri Shiv Kumar, state Durga Vahini chief Sanjana Chaudhary  and many others addressed the gathering.
