JAGADGURU Shankara-charya Swami Madhvashram Maharaj said dharma ensures ethics in the society and helps people live peacefully and in harmony. He was speaking at 19th anniversary of Bhavya Jagjanani Darbar at Loni in Ghaziabad on February 19. Scores of eminent personalities including Mayor of East Delhi Municipal Corporation Smt Annapurna Mishra, Mayor of West Delhi Smt Usha Shastri, Mahamandale-shwar Swami Raghwananad Maharaj, BJP MLA from Nodia Dr Mahesh Sharma, Mahant Sewanand Saraswati and many others were also present on the occasion.
Lauding the religious awakening being generated by the Darbar, the Shankaracharya stressed urgent need to protect the cow and her progeny. He called upon the countrymen to be vigilant from the threats the country is facing today in different forms.

Speaking on the occasion Pt Jaikumar Sharma, head of the Darbar, who is also famous as ‘Jalwale Guruji’, said many deaf and dumb got voice and many visionless got vision after visiting the Darbar. He said over 19 lakh devotees have so far visited the Darbar and thousands of them got rid of many critical illnesses. There were many people at the function who were deaf and dumb but started speaking fluently after visiting the Darbar. Similarly, many people who were critically injured in accidents recovered fully after visiting the Darbar.
