RSS is role model for selfless service

Kanchi Shankaracharya Swami Jayendra Saraswati has stressed the need for practicing devotion to the God and Nation. He affirmed that this is a must for the present changing times. He was speaking at a function organised by Keshava Smrithi, the RSS State secretariat in Aluva, Kerala, during his two days Kerala visit. Swamiji said the actions of RSS led to the growth of awareness and culture in the community.

He cautioned that the militant operations are being taking place in different parts of the country and this would pave way for destabilisation of the nation. However he praised that RSS is a role model for the world. “I am happy to be born in India and what the RSS is doing is punya,” he said. The Swamigal, who reached earlier in the Keshava Smrithi was warmly received by the students of Veliyathunadu Thantravidyapeetham with Poorna Kumbha under the directions of PEB Menon, RSS Prant Sanghachalak, Dr S Ayyappan Pillai, District Sanghachalak and District Karyavahaks Shri P Madhu and Shri Prasad Babu.
