The only effective measure to save cow (Organiser, 22.1.2012); Using the cow—The MP law ostensibly to protect the animal is a stick to beat Muslims’, is an article written by Javed Anand in Indian Express, 15.1.2012. Shri Anand is a general secretary of an organisation, ‘Muslims for democracy’, and co-editor of Communalism combat. He has emphatically opined in his article that law passed by MP government against cowslaugher is a draconian one, because under this law a head constable and above, or any other person authorised has the power to enter, inspect and search any premises where offence is suspected. Shri Anand is advised to read the ‘Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill’drafted by NAC, which brazenly specify that the majority community will not be treated victims during communal riots. Is it not a draconian law? This also violates the Constitution. Coming to the main point on cow slaugher, Muslims have shown no sensitivity towards Hindu values after the division of country on Two Nation Theory. The democracy in India is because of Hindus. The present position is that number of milching animals as per rough estimate is about 15 crore. Although Hindus worship cows, but they are also against killing of other milching animals. The population of the country at present is 120 crore. The availability of milk is much less in the country of Lord Krishna. The criminals are selling adultrated and poisonous milk prepared from chemicals, etc. Number of TV channels have exposed such rackets. The other day our Prime Minister showed his concern over malnutrition of new born infants and their mothers. Therefore to save the cows and rear them for milk is a pious measure for healthy care of human beings. Laws banning cow slaughter should be strictly implemented. The second objection Javed Anand has raised in the article is about introduction of Geetasaar, yoya and suryanamaskar in the schools. The irony is, that the philosophy of Geeta has appealed to crores of people in the world, but Muslims in India treat it as communal. Shri Anand should realise that it was written long before the advent of Muslims and Christians in India, who are the cause of communalism in India. Geetasaar to day is an antidote to corruption and worldly tensions. Yoga and Suryanamaskar are the means to be fit and fine. In 1970’s Congress government introduced yoga in Delhi schools under the guidance of yoga Guru Dhirendra Brahmachari, without any opposition. But now they do not talk of it. The third point is that, it is only because of conservative religious ideology which the Muslims follow, they are poor and backward. For example they did not follow family planning as welfare measure introduced in 1970’s. Here reservations won’t help. The right remedy is family planning. The submissions above ensure better living and millions have already benefited. It appears that Shri Anand seems to have an antipathy towards Hindu values.

Development of Vanvasi areas should be a priority: Mohanji (Organiser, 15.1.2012); This is with reference to the front page article, ‘Development of Vanvasi areas should be a priority: Mohanji’, in you esteemed weekly. After reading the full article I felt that what Shri Mohan Bhagwat is doing for the Vanvasis, it should have been done by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. But unfortunately the PM is busy in protecting his corrupt government. The PM should rise above party politics and work for the development of Vanvasi areas and save their lifestyle, culture and healthy traditions. Kindly send him a copy of Organiser and request him to go through the article so that he can learn some thing. The text of the article is highly motivating and educative. It is actually the Central Ministry of Sports and Games which was supposed to do this sports meet, done by Kalyan Ashram. But they are busy in looting the nation by conducting other sports meets such as Asian Games and Common Wealth Games, etc wherein Delhi’s CM Sheila Dikshit and her clan has minited money shamelessly at the cost const of the exchequer. Kindly ask Italian Sonia and Indian Sheila to come and have Matrihast Bhojan and if they have any matri feeling, participate in the programme and be blessed. All the 2,000 vanvasi sportsmen who participated in the meet deserve kudos for their enthusiastic participation and promotion of sportsman spirit and patriotism. GoI should focus on these sort of mass programmes and suitably encourage them.

Take effective measures to safeguard the borders (Organiser, 4.12.2011); This refers to the letter by Shri Mehtani in Organiser, under the heading “Take effective measures to safeguard the borders”. He has argued, that “ people of Jammu, Leh & Ladakh, Gujar Community and Pundits in exile would not support separatists, and that, if Kashmir is allowed to secede, then other states will also follow.” In my opinion, there are many more important and basic reasons, due to which Kashmir cannot be allowed to secede. Firstly, accession of J&K to India is legally based on provision of the Independence Act of July 1947, according to which Maharaja of J&K was fully authorised to decide whether be would join India or Pakistan. The Maharaja has already acceded to India. Secondly, this provision for giving powers to the rulers of the states/kingdoms was made at the insistence of Mr Jinnah himself, although Congress leaders were opposed to it. Therefore Pakistan cannot oppose it. Thirdly, there was a very big district Tharparkar in Sindh with more than 90 per cent Hindu population in 1947, and Chittagong Hill Tract (CHT) with 97 per cent Chakma Buddhists population in 1947; These were given to Pakistan, all due to stupidity of Congress leaders. Tharparkar was freed by our Army in 1965 war with Pakistan, but returned to Pakistan by Lal Bhadur Shastri. Nothing could be more anti-national than this Again in 1971 War with Pakistan, East Pakistan was liberated. Indira Gandhi the then Prime Minister, returned CHT to Bangladesh with complete disregard to the fact that it had 97 per cent Buddhists. Now India can atleast tell to Pakistan, that we abided by the Independence Act of July 1947 and returned the Hindu majority regions to Pakistan, although we had captured them, despite the fact that Islamic country of Pakistan and Bangladesh cannot claim to keep Hindu majority areas. On the other hand, India is secular country and is keeping more than 15 crore Muslims which is more than the population of Pakistan.

People want to know the result Cases of violation of model code of conduct are being filed by the Election Commission of India against political parties and individual in every elections. Till now it must have registered several thousands of such cases. Common man like us do not know what kind of legal action would be initiated on them? Election Commission is requested to inform the people about what steps it has taken against them.

Mistaken pic? This is with reference to a news item published on page 2 of the Organiser dated 4.12.2011, under the heading ‘Discuss security of Hindus in Pakistan, VHP tells Centre’. Here I would like to say that the statement given in the news item is by Shri Ramakant Dubey. It has got nothing to do with Shri Ashok Singhal who is President VHP International. Secondly Shri Dubey is the State President of VHP and not its President as mentioned by you in the news item. Further I feel that you should have printed the photo of Shri Ramakant Dubey instead of Shri Ashok Singhal.

Why CBI is under UPA’s control? The UPA’s insistence on keeping the CBI under government control is beyond comprehension. The only inference that can be drawn is that by keeping a hold on the CBI, the government can use or misuse it for obvious reasons. However, if the Congress is nursing any illusions about always remaining in power, it may be sadly mistaken. People are now undergoing a process of political awakening, having experienced six decades of democratic rule in the country. It will, therefore not be surprising if political power changes hands more often in the foreseeable future than it did in the past. This is why all political outfits must ensure the CBI’s neutrality so that no party in power can make use of it as its handmaiden.

Loot in the name of oil Regarding continuous increase in oil prices I would only say that it would be better for the UPA government to roll back the hike than face the anger of the people now and in the coming elections. The UPA government has become synonymous with fuel price hikes and corruption. The frequent increases have increased the consumer burden to unacceptable levels. The government tries to blame the oil companies and vice versa. The oil companies outdo the government by expressing their readiness to roll back the price hike if directed by the government.

Double standards Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray at one place alleges that Karnataka is imposing Kannada on Marathi speaking people in Belgaum and at another place he says that north Indians do not learn and speak in Marathi in Mumbai. These statements are contradictory and of double standards. We feel he has to correct his conscience. We do not understand what type of democracy he practices.

A memorable experience We want to share our first hand memorable experience of attending the Vanvasi sports meet with the readers of Organiser. Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram organised the sixth national Vanvasi sports meet in Pune from December 29, 2011 to January 1, 2012. More than 2,000 Vanvasis from 28 states had joined the meet and participated in various sports activities which took place their. A total of 267 medals including 107 gold, 108 silver and 52 bronze were won by the participants. With a view to facilitate interaction between the participants, Matrihast Bhojan was organised wherein about 1,200 families assembled on the playground of SP College in Pune and offered simple home-made food to the participants from different states. We were thrilled to hear the speech of the RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat who said that the Kalyan Ashram is playing the role of Jambavat who invoked the inner strength of Hanuman to fly over to Lanka in search of mother Sita. It is Kalyan Ashram which is reminding them of their strength. We congratulate the organisers of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram for organising such a wonderful event. (Full report of the event can be read from the Organiser, 15-1-2012).
