Togadia Speak Repulsive Revenge

These are only a few examples of what we have been seeing happening more and more around us past 10 years. It is not that earlier people never used to get angry. Not that similar cases never happened before. But observation is that such incidents have gone up substantially. Reasons, places, means and people may vary but the way to express anger has become most brutal. Mostly it results into a death of someone. If not death then there is a severe damage either to a family or property. We notice it when a dead patient’s family members attack doctors, medical staff and hospital properties; we notice it when either teachers beat a child to death or the disgruntled parents beat up teachers and damage school property. Possibly, the reason of the anger may be very valid; sometimes not so. But no day passes without at least 3 news of this type.

Getting upset, angry and disgruntled is a natural human tendency. Even in our old literature krodh – anger – is mentioned as one of the nine rasas. But the issue here is the expression of it and also the reasons that are used to get angry and act in such a knee jerk manner that someone loses life – sometimes that someone is a near and dear one of the persons who acts angrily! Like many, we all have a question about such incidents – Why?!!

Some blame systems for such reactionary behaviour. Some blame planetary changes that suddenly make sane people behave with total insanity. Some blame the rat race that today’s generation has to face. Some blame generally increased depression levels. Some blame media and some just blame Kaliyuga! Blaming something is always an easy way out. Blames do not create solutions and for solutions, it helps go into the deep rooted causes of any behaviour that generally has not been a part of Bharat’s culture. It can be an invasion and encroachment of foreigners and their so-called ways (which they call culture and even expect Bharat’s Commonwealth Games to celebrate invader’s culture as Bharat’s culture!). Bharat was aghast watching on the TV how a biker’s gang wearing caps did circus and noise pollution in the wee hours of night on Delhi streets. Such gangs are active at many places of the same people.

In villages and smaller towns many of us meet many youth from varied social stratum. Most are not unruly like these. Therefore, if anyone tries to generalise and blame youth for some brutal incidents; it could be a blunder. This revengeful reactionary aggression that reaches the level of killing someone close has no age, no gender, and no caste bar! As a medical professional, sure, I would like that the expert veteran psychiatrists opine on this phenomena. But instead of using western parameters to Bharat’s people’s today’s behaviour, perhaps we may find some answers in the deviation that Bharat has been facing from Her core – that is – togetherness as a family. Somewhere down the line past 10 years few sections of Bharat seem to have been confused about their past and stressed about their future. Poverty does play role in it; but many a times such brutal incidents are seen to be happening in wealthy families – especially like dowry deaths etc. Need to make fast buck, urge to prove oneself quicker, look successful and show off power are the keys and clues behind such behaviour – be it in any field or profession of life – family, education, business, corporate, legal, medical, even in the social work organisations and all the more in politics.

Our Vedas and other rich heritage teach us that know who your enemy is and then only attack him till he is finished. Here is the catch. Instead of trying to go behind the real enemy of Bharat, that is Jehadi terrorism, there is all effort being made by politicians, media, so-called social work NGOs, intellectuals and seculars to misguide Bharat. What do these tangent directors do? They follow the law of break and rule. They have enough broken Hindu society into castes so that any given time some two castes are always fighting on something or the other; such dirty mastermind directors’ satanic greed has not stop at that. They are now-a-days hell bent upon making few people more equal than the original people of Bharat by announcing minority reservations snatching food, jobs, shelter, education and money from OBCs, Scheduled Castes and Tribals. As it is Bharat’s aam aadmi who is reeling under bloated prices (to help a few politicians’ wallets to bloat!). Over and above that using political power, aam aadmi’s basics too are being snatched. Aam aadmi is angry, unhappy, upset, depressed and frustrated.

Yet, Bharat’s aam aadmi knows and generally follows the principle: War is to be done with the enemy of the nation. This is called patriotism. But the problem is not aam aadmi. Although he is seen at many places fighting for his rights in vain, he is misguided to express his anger and frustration in a way suiting some political power goons. Leave apart the cases where little kids tend to kill someone mostly copying some pervert internet social networking sites or watching the similar TV serials. But mostly politicians use already frustrated aam aadmi to create terror around. Sometime even visual media gets into over activism and by showing some gruesome visuals again and again with caustic remarks instigate mobs to the level of killing someone or sometimes even killing oneself! But I am sure that this is a passing phase for common people like me, you and all aam aadmis like us. This will pass and Bharat’s aam aadmi will return to peace, prosperity and tranquility as ever before.
