VHP president Shri Ashok Singhal was admitted to Medanta Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon on June 12 following chest pain. He was attended by senior cardiologists there. During angiography some blockage was detected in the arteries. The doctors attending him immediately conducted angioplasty. According to VHP spokesperson Shri Prakash Sharma, Shri Singhal has now returned to VHP headquarter in RK Puram, Delhi. The doctors have advised him complete rest. He is recovering and is taking rest under the supervision of doctors.
