Sangh Samachar Annual General Body Meeting of Vidya Bharati Let’s reach out to the last person of the society-Duttatreya Hosabale

“ALL-round development of the society through education is the prime objective of Vidya Bharati. We have to make the society strong so that it can face all the challenges. But while working in the field, the feeling that we are uplifting the people should not come into our mind,” said RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Duttatreya Hosabale. He was addressing the Vidya Bharati workers at the annual general body meeting held at Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Cuttack on April 4.

He said attending the needy and the last person of the society is need of the hour. Stressing on quality improvement in education he said apart from expanding the work we should not compromise over the quality. He also spoke about the training of the Acharyas. He appealed the workers to draw inspiration from the life of Nanaji Deshmukh.

Speaking on the occasion outgoing president Shri PK Madhvan called upon the workers to work tirelessly for making India a strong nation. He said there are many challenges before the workers but they have to find ways out of them. Outgoing national organising secretary Shri Brahmdev Sharma “Bhaiji” also guided the workers.

According to the information presented at the meeting, there are 1495 Shishu Vatikas, 6391 Primary schools, 4634 upper primary schools, 1930 secondary schools, 750 senior secondary schools, 3839 Samskar Kendras, 4052 Ekal Vidyalayas, 135336 Acharyas and 30,41,115 students in Vidya Bharati schools today.

New team of Vidya Bharati office-bearers upto the year 2013 was also announced at the meeting. It includes Shri Brahmdev Sharma ‘Bhaiji’ (Delhi) as patron, Dr Govind Sharma (Bhopal) as president, Dr BP Khandelwal (Noida), Shri Rajendra Prasad Khetan (Delhi), Dr D Ramakrishna Rao (Gudilova) Dr Renu Mathur (Jhansi) and Shri Nand Kumar Indu (Muzaffarpur) as vice presidents, Shri Pakash Chand as organising secretary, Shri JM Kashipati as joint organising secretary, Shri Narendrajit Singh Raval as general secretary, Shri Ram Aravkar, Shri Avanish Bhatnagar and Shri Dilip Betakekar as secretaries, Shri MV Kutti, Dr Bipin Bihari Byohar, Smt Anima Sharma and Shri Ram Kui as joint secretaries, Shri Jainpal Jain as treasurer, Dr PK Madhvan, Dr DP Singh, Shri Dinanath Batra, Dr Nirmal Kumar Chaudhary, Shri Rajkripal, Shri Lakshminarayan Bhala, Shri Shantanu Raghunath Shende, Smt Asha Thanaki and Shri Dinesh Naipal as members.
