Sardar Chiranjiv Singh visits US, Canada

SENIOR Sangh Pracharak and founder of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat Sardar Chiranjiv Singh was recently on a three week tour to United States and Canada. He landed in Vancouver, Canada, in mid December and after attending a function in Las Vegas, he reached Los Angeles on December 26, 2009.

During the tour he visited Cerritos shakha and apprised the workers of the activities of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat. He also had two community meetings. The first meeting was organised with the HSS representatives and president of a local Gurudwara. Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Shri Babubhai Gandhi, Shri Vinod Ambastha, Shri Avinash Bajaj, Shri Raj Kumar, Shri Gulshan Bhatia, Shri Ram Malladi and Dr Parmindar Singh Wadhwa. Shri Chiranjiv Singh presented brief summary of RSS activities in Punjab since Independence and specially elaborated on the role of RSS and the Sikh Sangat in the wake of Khalistan movement.

The second meeting was hosted by Cerritos Nagar Sanghachalak Shri Raj Kumar. Shri Vinod Ambastha, Shri Babubhai Gandhi, Shri Chetan Gandhi, Shri Avinash Bajaj, Shri Arsindar Singh, and Shri Arun Dutt attended the meeting. The meeting focused on developing sampark in the Sikh community of Los Angeles.
