“Sangh work is like sweetness of sugar that cannot be experienced without tasting it. Therefore, instead of trying to understand the Sangh from home, join its activities, as the whole world today needs Hindutva, the prime ideological source of RSS,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat. He was addressing the Hindu Sangam organised at Chitrakoot Stadium in Jaipur on October 25. Kshetra Sanghachalak Shri Purushottam Paranjape and Prant Sanghachalak Shri Lakshminarayan Chatak were also present at the function. Prior to it, Shri Bhagwat and other dignitaries started the signature campaign of Vishwa Mangal Gou Gram Yatra.

Shri Bhagwat said Hindutva is the tatva that has the solution to most of the problems of the world. He further said the RSS founder Dr Hedgewar had formed the Sangh with the view that character development is a must if we have to make the nation stronger. “Before forming the Sangh, Dr Hedgewar had participated in many movements of that time and had discussed the idea with many top leaders of that time. RSS holds the firm opinion that the nation cannot achieve its pristine glory until all the countrymen have a patriotic feeling in their heart,” he said.

Shri Bhagwat stated that the thinkers world over are today worried about the destruction of the earth. Some are worried for global warming and some are afraid of growing fundamentalism in the world. The fact is that Hindutva has an effective solution to both these problems. Only the Hindu culture teaches to accept all despite diversity and also how much to be taken from the nature. We have followed this culture for centuries and practically proved how beneficial it is, he affirmed. Citing a recent survey he pointed out that DNA mapping revealed that about 40,000 years back all people of the world were one. It means all people and ideologies of the world develop at one place.

Talking about the present political scenario of the country after Independence Shri Bhagwat said during these 62 years we followed the former USSR for sometime and then followed the US. We also spent huge money on different developmental schemes. But the country still lacks development. The fact is that it will not make the nation strong. If we have to truly make the nation strong, we will have to awaken and educate the public of the nation. If we have to keep the nation one, we will have to keep the nation unite from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Coming down heavily on the political leadership of the country he said our leaders are ready to bear any type of loss in the name of peace. If our forces win any battle, our leaders lose it at the table.

Talking about recent developments with China, Shri Bhagwat cautioned the countrymen that China is trying to mobilise our neighbours like Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka under its banner. At this point of time, we should hammer out some concrete planning. China can enter India through Nepal any time. People of Gilgit and Baltistan in Pak-occupied Kashmir had sought help from India in their fight for autonomy, but India did not help them. Rather, China provided them monetary help for development. The problem of PoK could have been solved, if India had helped those people, he added.
