Tribute to Jorawar Singh, Fateh Singh and Mata Gujari Devi

Tributes were paid to Jorawar Singh, Fateh Singh and Mata Gujari Devi at Fatehgarh Saheb in Punjab on December 24, 25 and 26 by organising langar and Akhand Path on their Saheedi Diwas. The langar began with the recitation of Guruwani and ardas. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Sant Baba Jayender Singh, Swami Arvindananda Maharaj from USA, Swami Surya Pratap Singh, Swami Pritam Das, RSS Punjab Prant Pracharak Shri Kishor Kant, founder of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat Sardar Chiranjiv Singh, Sardar Gurubachan Singh Gil, joint organising secretary of VHP Shri Balkrishan Naik, national secretary of BJP Smt. Kiran Ghai, BJP Punjab president Shri Rajendra Bhandari, Health Minister if Punjab Government Prof. Laxmikanta Chawla, etc. A free medical camp was also organised, which was inaugurated by Prof. Laxmikanta Chawla. Sangat Sewa Samiti also organised an exhibition highlighting the life of Jorawar Singh, Fateh Singh and Mata Gujari Devi, and history of Shri Guru Granth Saheb and Sikhism. (FOC)
