?Bridges connect people to people, society to the world and the past to the present and future, cultures, and civilisations to the civilisations. Sri Ram Sethu too is a similar bridge, which connects us with our glorious past. It not only has cultural, economical and strategic importance, but it is the identity of our national asmita. It is also the sethu of crores of Indians? faith. The destruction of such a bridge is wrong. The destruction of Ram Sethu will be like hurting the faith of crores of people. No sensitive and intelligent person can commit such a mistake. I hope the united force emerged out of this rally would provide wisdom to the government.
