?We all are working for a noble cause. Circumstances are not always the same. They continue to change. But those who are rooted in their moorings get success,? said RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Mohan Bhagwat. He was releasing a book, Dhyeya Sadhana, on golden jubilee of Panchjanya at Keshav Kunj in New Delhi on August 7. The 117 pages book highlights prominently the 50 years journey of Panchjanya and has been published by Panchjanya Nachiketa Pratishthan.
Shri Bhagwat further said only those people who are committed to the pious cause for which Panchjanya and Organiser are being published, could understand the significance of this pictorial publication. ?We have a tradition of not only the great personalities but also of committed workers. Those who are associated with this tradition of nationalist journalism can understand its significance better,? he added.
Scores of intellectuals, literary persons, social workers and politicians were present on the occasion. They included Sahsarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi, Akhil Bharatiya Bauddhik Pramukh Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni, former governor of Goa Shri Kidarnath Sahani, former editor of Tarun Bharat and former spokesperson of RSS Shri M.G. Vaidya, senior VHP leader Shri Omkar Bhave, former MPs and noted journalists Shri Balbir Punj and Shri Dina Nath Mishra, noted columnist Smt. Sandhya Jain, BJP Parliamentary Party secretary Prof. O.P. Kohli, noted Hindi novelist Shri Narendra Kohli, senior advocate of Supreme Court Shri Ramphal Bansal, BJP general secretary (organisation) Shri Ramlal, Dharam Jagaran Pramukh Shri Ashok Prabhakar, RSS National Executive member Shri Indresh Kumar, national convenor of Samskrit Bharati, Shri C.M. Krishna Shastri, Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Bajranglal Gupt, former chairman of Bharat Prakashan Shri Satyanarayan Bansal, former general manager of Bharat Prakashan Shri Anand Aadish, Delhi Prant Sanghachalak Shri Ramesh Prakash, and Managing Director of Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Ltd. Shri Santosh Taneja.
Shri Kidarnath Sahani recalled various ups and downs that he saw in his long association with Bharat Prakashan and said that the ideological newspapers like Link, Patriot and National Herald have been closed down, but despite being the ideological papers both Panchjanya and Organiser are still preferred by lakhs of people across the world.
Earlier, Shri Balbir Punj said the tradition of honouring the nationalist writers should be restarted in any form. He said the people of other ideologies do not need their own ideological newspapers as the whole media carry their views. But our views are still ignored by the majority of media.
Shri Satyanarayan Bansal said Panchjanya honoured various nationalist Hindi writers during the golden jubilee year but the tradition had to be discontinued due to some reasons. He stressed the need to restart this tradition. Shri Ramesh Prakash proposed a vote of thanks. Panchjanya editor Shri Tarun Vijay conducted the proceedings. (FOC)
